Both these titles are wrapped up in Ecchi and humour. Although Kanokon is more 'tame' than Sora no Otoshimono both are somewhat of a fantasy/sci-fi type romances. They both show different sides of their story, with Sora no Otoshimono having an aggressive (trying to get girls) protagonist and Kanokon having the passive (trying to be won over) protagonist.

His bike frequently breaks down, his classmates take advantage of him, women ignore and scorn him, and on top of all that, he’s only 5'3". In Heaven, when someone’s bad luck and good luck are so heavily out of balance, Belldandy (Goddess First Class, Second Category, Unlimited) of the Goddess Assistance Agency comes to the rescue. Belldandy grants Keiichi one wish to make up for all of his bad luck, but when Keiichi wishes for Belldandy to stay by his side forever... the trouble begins. Can Keiichi keep Belldandy by his side, or will outside elements force her to return to heaven?
These both have similar concepts in that there is an angel/goddess that descends from the sky and spends the rest of the series with the main character. While Sora no Otoshimono is more echhi based and Ah! My Goddess is much less sexual but is built on romantic tension between the two main characters. If you like one then you'll likely enjoy the other.
F City, F Prefecture: the battleground where good and evil have finally chosen to decide once and for all who will rule the world…or at least that's the general idea! Neither side seems up for the task, as surviving the brutality of everyday life is enough of a chore. On the side of evil is the organization of Across, its only member the loudmouthed and abrasive Excel who struggles just to put food in her stomach; on the side of good, three disenfranchised, unemployed bachelors whose only pursuit in life is romance. Add in alien invasions, jungle warfare, and Mexican immigrant laborers to Japan, and this war doesn't seem likely to be ending soon!
