Lost Universe

Lost Universe

When Kane Blueriver, Milly, and Canal seek out wealth aboard the star ship Sword Breaker, many mishaps will ensue, as these trouble contracters take on bounty cases across the universe. That is, until Kane discovers the secret behind his grandmother's ship and the ever expanding threat of Nightmare, an evil crime syndicate that wants to rule the universe.

Basically the way I see this series is Slayers in space. It's not quite as epic, but there are some cool space battles, and a cool ship computer! The humor and overall feeling is identical.
Kastrophee

The Slayers series and Lost Universe were not only made by the same person, but they also have the same animation style, the same type of humor and the same type of plot.As I read before, Lost Universe is pretty much Slayers in space.

Ruin Explorers

Ruin Explorers

Ihrie and Fam are just two of the many explorers searching ruins for something called the 'ultimate power'. With the 'ultimate power' the owner has the ability to have any wish granted. Of course all the explorers have different motives for finding this relic, ranging from revenge on a curse-casting mentor, to saving a kingdom from utter destruction.

If you liked the quest the slayers party went on in Slayers Try, you will also like Ruin Explorers. In both, the journey is for a relic that is much the same, and also the characters are just as slap-stick. The hunting through caves and traps aspect is quite the same in both these anime as well.

Kastrophee

High fantasy, slap-stick humor, magic, and a group of less then ideal heroes. Unfortunately there is not much more to say then that, if you liked one then I must insist you try the other.

Irresponsible Captain Tylor

Irresponsible Captain Tylor

The future of humanity is in peril, as they are confronted with the threat of an intergalactic clash with a warrior-like alien race, and the only one who can save them is... Captain Tylor?! Join a crew of misfits and rejects including an alcoholic doctor, a gorgeous nurse, an anal-retentive commander and a bunch of really stupid marines as they try to make it out in space and to discover whether their captain is a misunderstood genius or a total moron like he seems to be.

This series is another along the same lines as Lost Universe, where it's a lot of just slap-stick humor as well as one huge underlying story.

K.O. Beast

K.O. Beast

In the distant future, two species are at war to avoid extinction. Humans, who came from another world in search of a new residence, are now fighting against the Beasts, a human-like race who can morph into the shapes of animals. Wan of the Tiger Clan, Bud Mint of the Bird Clan and Mei-Mer of the Mermaid Clan are the three most powerful Beasts, and also the biggest threat to humans. The evil and demonic minions of the human race, V-darn and V-sion, have a plan: eliminate the three and acquire Gaia, the most valuable treasure of all. But the Beasts are after it too, and their Jinns, man-made clan totems, were created to protect Gaia no matter what. Things look up for the Beasts when they meet Tuttle of the Mermaid Clan and the little girl Yuni, who seem to hold the key for everything. Who will find the treasure first, the Beasts or the humans?

irrelevant

If you like Slayers Try then you may dig K.O. Seiki Beast (aka ko century beast) since they both have similar art styles, and a slapstickish, cute, sort of sense of humor mixed with action/sword fighting, and ridiculous stuff.

I found the styles to be very similar.

Rockman EXE

Rockman EXE

In the future, the net is connected to everything - from streetlights to kitchens. Each new convenience brings an opportunity for people to manipulate it. To facilitate the use of the net and to protect people from its dangers, citizens buy or create "pets". These cyber-creations not only help to find data, but also, protect them from threats. Rockman EXE revolves around a young boy, whose father has sent him a new prototype called Rockman.
