Synopsis:
Join flat-chested mighty sorceress Lina Inverse and her companions once again, as they explore the rest of a newly-accessible world that was previously hidden behind a magic barrier. Xellos and his mysterious ulterior motives are back in the fray along with their new friend, Filia, a golden dragon from the new world who brings word of an evil prophecy. Can Lina and her party fight against this prophecy that promises the destruction of their world?

add recThe Slayers series and Lost Universe were not only made by the same person, but they also have the same animation style, the same type of humor and the same type of plot.As I read before, Lost Universe is pretty much Slayers in space.

Of course all the explorers have different motives for finding this relic, ranging from revenge on a curse-casting mentor, to saving a kingdom from utter destruction.

add recIf you liked the quest the slayers party went on in Slayers Try, you will also like Ruin Explorers. In both, the journey is for a relic that is much the same, and also the characters are just as slap-stick. The hunting through caves and traps aspect is quite the same in both these anime as well.
High fantasy, slap-stick humor, magic, and a group of less then ideal heroes. Unfortunately there is not much more to say then that, if you liked one then I must insist you try the other.

Join a crew of misfits and rejects including an alcoholic doctor, a gorgeous nurse, an anal-retentive commander and a bunch of really stupid marines as they try to make it out in space and to discover whether their captain is a misunderstood genius or a total moron like he seems to be.

The next day, Melissa prays to her god to guide her to the hero she should serve. Her god replies that the next man she sees will be her hero, after which Louie literally falls down from the sky! Against her will, Louie is the hero she should honor and thus, Louie is accepted into their group. He is now a treasure hunter, mage, warrior, and hero?! With little expertise in anything, he can't possibly be of much use!
