Hinamori Amu is a stylish punk rock girl who is liked and feared by her peers, but there's just one problem: she's actually a shy and quiet girl who can't seem to drop her self-fabricated facade! But when Amu finds three eggs in her bed, she had no idea her life would change forever. Out of the eggs pop Ran, Miki and Su, Amu's Guardian Charas; these being represent parts of Amu that she wishes she could be, even allowing Amu to transform into those parts at will! Now, with pressure from the other Guardians (including her crush, Hotori) to join their midst, dark sides of the psyche known as X Eggs to seal, and nefarious forces after a wish-granting egg known as the embryo, Amu's life has officially become more complicated!

Shugo Chara is more of a magical girl show... but the main charector has inferiator complex, ANd in Angelic Layer the main charector is confused with her mommy problems. Both animes have alot of battles and comedy, very light romance but with a fun approach. I highly recommend these animes!
Kururu, Chiriri, Sarara, and Hororo are four faries who aspire to become human. To do this, they leave the fairy world to study for a year in our world. Aided by their friends Sensei-san and Tama, they have fun learning about topics ranging from school graduation ceremonies and sports festivals to romance and caring for flowers. But as the end of the year of study approaches, will they have learned enough to realize their dreams?
Bottle Fairy is pretty much plotless, while Shugo Chara does have a plot; regardless, the little fairies in Bottle Fairy remind me a lot of the Charas in Shugo Chara. If you like a cute dose of saccharine in your anime, you'd like both of these titles; just keep in mind that BF has no point and SC has a plot when deciding to follow this recommendation or not.
Earth is once again under attack! Moebius, a dark lord from a parallel world called Labyrinth, is on a mission to conquer all of the worlds, and only the legendary Pretty Cure warriors can stop him. Tart and Chiffon – two fairies from the Kingdom of Sweets – have returned to Earth to find the girls and discover that Love, Miki and Inori possess the power to strike down evil. Now, between their studies and rehearsing to become idols, the trio must help put a stop to Moebius’s plans!
Both anime are about one main girl that eventually turns into a magical girl to get on with her mission. Soon that girl gets more and more magical girl (or boy) buddies to help her fight. Strange fairy like creatures are along for the ride to help them out too. Check one out if you liked the other.

This series kinda has the same pretty-ness and romance. It's that kidna where you sit at the edge of your seat waiting for it to FINALLY happen because they keep flirting all over the place. But the story line also isn't your average storyline. There are plot twists and character twist's that make you wondering what's going to happen at the end!
