Omamori Himiri and Shuffle! are extremely similar in their plot. Both are about a boy being taken care by a friend who has feelings for him. Girls who are not human suddenly come into his life who love him for different reasons.

Both Anime's are a Harem romantic comedy, so you can expect the same humor. An example would be a girl coming on to the main character only to be interupted by another girl. Expect plenty of fanservice in both.

The main differences between the two anime's is that Shuffle is more of a romance story, while Omamori Himiri has alot more action. Even with these differences if you enjoyed one you will enjoy the other almost guaranteedly.

If you enjoy a mixture of romance, comedy, magic and mythology (mainly Norse), then these series fit well together. Shuffle is definitely more harem-y and ecchi and a bit more serious in terms of many of the themes explored, though.

Nana

Nana

Nana Komatsu is on her way to Tokyo; now she can finally be with her boyfriend after a year of dating long-distance! On the train there, Nana Komatsu meets Nana Osaki – a girl who shares her name but seems to be everything Nana Komatsu is not; cool, street-wise, and a punk rocker. Whilst hunting for a place to live the two Nanas again cross paths. They decide to share a flat and become best friends in no time. Both Nana and Shuffle are very different animes, but even though the first is a real-world setting melodrama, and the latter - shuffle - is a harem comedy, they both attain something very rare in the world of female character outside of Studio Ghibli. The girls in both of these series are wonderfully human, expressing everything from foaming girly love, to dark, lecherous jealousy. If the darker moments of human intimacy in either of these series captured your attention, or even your heart, I highly recommend the other too.

Final Approach

Final Approach

In present-day Japan, a rising decline in the birth rate has prompted the government to intervene, thus forming the R.T.P. committee whose goal is to promote arranged marriages. Due to the sensitive nature of the issue, however, a test run was deemed mandatory, and young Ryo Mizuhara (chosen by the world's best supercomputer) was selected as the test subject, much to his own dismay. With the megalomaniac Shizuka Masuda appointed as his fiancee and secret agents in his face at every turn, can Ryo manage to save his sanity, let alone his bachelor lifestyle of the past?

The main character is still undecided in his love life after a suprise turn  of events. This show just like Shuffle has it's comedy,drama, and fair share of a slice of life. Set in highschool, this anime is highly recommended to those who want a cute little anime to watch.

TUYBW and shuffle! have the reverse harem thing going. TUYBW has alien girls and shuffle has demon and god like girls coming out of pretty much nowhere and instantly falling in love with the main guy characters. In both plots, the guy or in tugyb the guys are chased by human girls who are jealous of the supernatural ones and fight for their love and affection. The girls that come from different worlds in both tuybw and shuffle have opposite personalities. One is perky and loud and the other reserved and sweet and theres a big twist ending that sort of resemble each other. So in my mind they really arent at all that different but i think tuybw was much better than shuffle. {{but thats just my opinion}}
