Maiku Kamishiro has always had a photo of himself as a child in front of an old house with a young girl. One day after spotting the building in a news report, the high school boy moves to the countryside to live in the house from the picture. While living alone, making ends meet by working as a freelance programmer, Maiku gets the shock of his life when not one, but two girls turn up on his doorstep claiming to be his twin sister! With the lively Miina and timid Karen both possessing the same photograph, the pair begins living with the confused Maiku as they try to figure out which one of them is actually his sister.
Please Twins is not as funny as Shuffle! but they are very similar in plots. They are both harems although Shuffle! involves girls from different worlds (adding to the fantasy side of it). The animation is good in both. Both have their perverted sides. You won't get bored with either of them
Imagine being a single boy, living in peace in a small town, when suddenly you're surrounded by girls all wanting to be together with you! In Shuffle! and Onegai Twins exactly this happens, and a boy has to make a difficult decision: to be or not to be... with who?!
In Please Twins and Shuffle there are loads of panty shots and fun filled awkward moments. There are funny episodes where the girls scheme against the boys and the situation just turns into one big disaster along the way. All the girls in the series are in love with the main guy and they try and prove their love in different ways.
When Junichi 'Gene Killer' Nagase saved the beautiful and wealthy Yuuhi Katagiri from bullies one day, he had no idea that he'd actually assisted his would-be wife! For what Junichi didn't know is that he and Yuuhi's fathers decided they would be wed, and Yuuhi has arrived in his town to decide if her betrothed is good enough for the job. After a humiliating and unwanted first kiss, Yuuhi moves in with Junichi to evaluate his worth; and thus, Junichi's life is changed forever. With embarrassing situations at every turn and a bride-to-be that thinks he's uncivilized and brash, what's a guy to do?
Harem it up in a wonderfully comedic high school setting with Shuffle and Akane-Iro ni Somaru Saka. While these protagonists are going crazy trying to make up their minds the girls are all on the prowl trying to snag him. Also, if you have a fascination with the sister-complex these two shows might just be the ones you are looking for.
Yes, they're both harem comedies, set in school... but I wouldn't watch Akane-Iro unless you're ready for some serious "sister complex" content. I was actually disturbed by the time we got to the end of the story. Consider yourself warned.
Harem comedies, that end on mature notes? Sister archetype, and best childhood friend archetype? These two titles carry about in very similar matters.
Kazuma and his little brother Ayumu have arrived at the countryside, eager to begin a new life at the Yorozuyo Inn – a place that Kazuma once visited as a child. There's fresh air, running water and relaxation – a perfect place for the sickly Ayumu to recover. But the pair's arrival is anything but uneventful, what with getting lost, Kazuma meeting and accidentally kissing the lovely Ui in the woods, and enraging her protective friend Ibuki in the process! Now, with a less than ideal first impression on his new classmates and more beautiful women popping up around him each day, Kazuma certainly has his hands full with misunderstandings and budding romances!
They are very similiar to each other. The characters, situation are quite generic to the harem genre. They both have lovable stories and characters.
both animes are very good if u love one u will surelylove the other. shuffle has a couple more twists along the way but they both follow a similiar path with a main male charcter falling in love with one girl out of the many that love him. and both have charchters u will fall in love with.
Both are harem style "get the guy" anime. Shuffle! is a little more ecchi, but both deal with a high school student having to decide which girl he really loves the most. The similar settings lead to very similar comedic situation, even to the point of an amusment park date episode that is almost identical. If you like high school romantic comedies, than either one is a good choice, and if you enjoy one, then you're sure to enjoy the other.
Kei Kusanagi is a shy teenage boy with no romantic experience whatsoever... until he finds out that his hot new teacher is actually an alien! In order to conceal her identity, the two are forced into a pretend marriage... but is it really a pretense, or are they actually falling in love?
If you liked Shuffle for its romance, comedy, and Ecchi then Onegai Teacher will be a good choice. Both animes have high animation quality as well as an excellent story as well as ecchi comedy and all the awkward moments you can think off.
In both animes the girls are from different worlds. This adds a fantasy side to them. They are both really funny and perverted. Although Please Teacher is not really a harem.
All is not as it seems on the part civilian, part military Aries space station. While visiting tourists or a fresh batch of cadets are just business as usual, a terrorist group planning an attack and a mysterious woman constantly getting "lost" in forbidden areas of the station is not. Soon enough, the regular life on the station comes to a sudden stop as different factions face off in its narrow hallways. And as the battle rages, the masks people wear are torn down. Unexpected alliances and bitter betrayals, love and sacrifice; nothing brings out people's true nature like war.
Another anime based on a project Naval game. Similar drawing style, similar archetypes, similar age-group, similar amount of fan-service.
If you are looking for an anime with about as much fanservice, drama and minor action as Shuffle, then Soul Link is good for you. Inversely, Shuffle would be just as good for the same reasons. Plus, they're both based off of a game.
