Ebichu is essentially the XXX-rated version of Okojo-san. Both involve animal(s) living with humans in an apartment, with plenty of off-the-wall and wacky humor. If you liked one, give the other a shot.

TheBurningCrow

Both Ebichu and Okojo-san are animals with very distinct personalities, which are very possessive and vile at times. These anime also have a bizarre mixture of humor and misunderstandings. If you liked one of these, definitely check out the other.

Ebichu and Okojo share not only crazy, misunderstood animals as the main characters, but also slightly off humans surrounding them. While Okojo is obviously much more kid safe (there's a reason for that black hamster in Ebichu -- it's a censor hamster!) both are enjoyable and hilarious.

Though Okojo and Chi's Sweet Home both involve animals living with humans in somewhat of a disconnect, Chi's Sweet Home is more adorable, with short 3 minute episodes showing "slices of life" from the kitten's point of view. Whereas Okojo thinks he owns the humans he lives with, Chi is a kitten, and therefore siimply distracted by things like milk and shoelaces. However, if you like animes about talking animals that no one understands, you would enjoy both.

Fruits Basket

Fruits Basket

However, things start to turn around once she is invited to live with class hunk Yuki Sohma and his family... but all is not as it seems! Fruits Basket, like Okojo-san, has sarcastic/witty humor and a likeable cast of animals (to an extent). If you liked the wacky elements of one, definitely try out the other.

Gon

Gon

He's small, he's scaly, he's Gon! This tiny Tyrannosaurus Rex may seem like nothing but a lazy reptile that lounges around and causes mischief, but he's also a pint-sized powerhouse filled with energy who can defend himself when the right kind of food is involved. Whether he's riding a sabertooth tiger like a horse, catching fish to make friends or trying to impress peacocks, Gon manages to get into trouble on every adventure he takes.

The two series couldn't be more different as far as setting, but both involve a badass animal main character whose size is of no concern when compared to his punchy attitude!
