There’s never a dull day in lives of the Hekiyou Academy student council! President Kurimu has a sweet tooth and neglects her duties with ease, while secretary Chizuru skillfully manipulates those around her. Otaku Mafuyu obsesses over writing online walkthroughs, and is constantly hounded by Ken, the only male of their crew and an eroge addict who has the ultimate goal to turn the entire council into his harem. Luckily for Mafuyu she’s protected from his advances by Minatsu, her sporty and tomboyish sister! Together, the five repeatedly struggle in their fight against boredom, making constant otaku references and fighting against the journalism club along the way!
these anime are similar in the aspect that they follow the daily routines of the student council and feature a single guy in the student council that is otherwise full of girls
While a way there opposite in chracter type one girl cast assumes harem wanting male, and the other has a harem wanting male, but they both follow attanics of interesting Student Council and their not so orginal members with plenty of comedy resulting from this. So if you liked one of these Seitokai series, I'd reccomend trying the other.
Both anime are parodies that take place in a school setting. Seitokai Yakuindomo I found to be way more funny because of the sexual aspect of it where Seitokai no Ichizon takes on making otaku jokes to make people laugh. (most probably would go over people's heads) If you enjoyed one give the other a shot.
For starters both series are parodies that take place in a school setting resolving around the student council. While both series incorparates some rather nice humor to keep the viewer interested Yakuindomo tends to focus a lot more on sexual related jokes and Ichizon tends to make more otaku related jokes. But if you enjoyed one then your sure to enjoy the other.
These series both focus on a guy in an all girl student council. Furthermore, each of these series are almost pure comedy that is broken up into a lot of short parts. SYD is much more ecchi, however.
Both of these anime revolve around a hillarious, random student council composed of 1 guy in an otherwise all female student council. While Seitokai Yakuindomo revolved more around verbal ecchi, or perverted humor, and Seitokai no Ichizon revolves more around pariodies of other anime, they both have extremely random nonsensical humor.
Personally I LOVED both series. Ichizon and Yakuindomo has one male and many females as the student council. All the characters have fun personalities that will entertain you forever. Yakuindomo is a bit more echhi (Speech wise) than ichizon, but if you watch one, i suggest watching the other! Fun, entertaining, and hilarious!
Both Seitokai Yakuindomo and seitokai no Ichizon around "the only male in the student council" theme so if you like one of them you will likely like the other. Also its got the comady. :D
Being the only male within the student council, both of these series give you both comedy, romance, and ecchi characters that give you a good laugh. In seitokai the male protagonist is the one that is less ecchi than the rest of his fellow members, and in no Ichizon the male protagonist is the more ecchi compared to the rest of the members of student council.
School council harem comedy with no plot or story. That is what these two shows have in common. They are both very funny and have a ton of clever slapstick humor. If you enjoyed one you will definitely enjoy the other.
Both anime are really similar in setting and style. However they are far from being copies of one another. While Seitokai no Ichizon. tends to be much less perverted and forthright with it's sexual humor as Seitokai Yakuindomo but still maintains about the same about of comedic value. If you liked one you will most certainly like the other. Also, keep in mind that while these are both wonderful anime their manga counterparts are still releasing new content, so when you are done with the anime I strongly suggest you check out the manga as well.
both anime are exactly the same, the student council, the harem and the lack of character development.
Although I don't like anime that does not have any character development, I somehow like Seitokai Yakuindomo unlike Seitokai no Ichizon, because the characters and humor are completely different(because the girls are pervert and the boy is completely decent)...
But If you like those anime that doesn't advance the story at all, you'll like them both...
The plot is pretty much the same: the main boy gets a position in the Student Council, which is led by only girls. While Ichizon is about parodies and a little perverted comedy, Yakuindomo is pretty much about dirty jokes.
Both are crude, fast paced school life comedies that have a harem set up but never really get into the "harem" mentality. The pacing and comedy are very similar as is the largely episodic nature of the show, though this is truer of Seitokai Yakuindomo. If you liked one, you'll like the other.
Btoh anime follow a student counsil during their school life. They are both full of humour, but Seitokai Yakuindomo is more focused on sexual jokes and Seitokai no Ichizon is a parody. I highly recommend both, since they're mostly the same
Both them have male lead character around bunch of girls doing pointless stuff and of course the comedy is similar , While Seitokai Yakuindomo may be more perverted , Seitokai no Ichizon has tiny bit drama towards the end.
Definetly check both if you like Comedy and scarcastic/perverted jokes.
SNI and SYD (gonna sorten them for simplicity) are very a like. For starters each series follow the student council which on each series are actually very much similar to one another, SYD has a heavy use of sexual comedy and jokes thrown our way where as SNI does still have these jokes (from Ken, lead male) though focuses on jokes a little less dirty but more natural and also a fair focus on Otaku cultured jokes.
Whilst each series has it's main focus they are both great comedies which are quite random but great if you want to have a good laugh and enjoy a bit of fun. Im sure if you like one the other is going to appeal greatly to you.
Seeking a cure for his depraved masochism, Taro Sado approaches the Second Volunteer Club on the recommendation of his best friend, Tatsukichi. There he finds the help of the violent but kind Mio Isurugi who promises to beat the masochism out of him by any means necessary. Will Taro be able to survive the assaults of this upperclassman, the overly-affectionate attentions of his mother and sister, and still lead a normal school life? Unlikely. But will he get over his perverse fetish? He sure hopes so.
There series are both harems with several stereotypes working together in some sort of high-school club. Each series is both focuses on sexual humor.
The sexual humor is probably the biggest draw to either series. While probably the biggest difference between either series is the male lead who in Seitokai is really rather normal and in MM! he's has a severe case of masochism. But there are plently of things to look forward to in either series and are likely to bring a couple of smiles to anyone watching either series.
Overperverted schoolclub. Enough said. Since it probably won't come through the screening like that: one has a council where every 30 seconds at least one sex joke is made, while the other has a club where at least every 30 secs an action to "stir" someone is made.
if you liked one, you'll probably like the other.
Both anime are to a certain limit very perverted, without it crossing any real morals since they are both serious (pun it itself) slapstick anime!
Seitokai makes more verbal jokes, where MM! covers most of the jokes in a physical manner, still both great shows if you have an adult kind of humor and like jokes going 18+!
Slapstick comedy. Strange personalities. Sexual humor. You know you shouldn't be laughing but you do anyway. All this in a slice of life setting where the characters are in thier own little group at school. If you liked one of MM! or Seitokai Yakuindomo check out the other, you won't be disappointed.
both series are quasi-harem types filled with female characters who either physically or figuratively abuse the main protagonist. the only difference is that in Seitokai the main male Protagonist is just a regular guy whereas in MM! the male protagonist is a well meaning pervert.
I found both of these anime very funny and the humor is very similar. By similar I mean the excessive use of dirty jokes.
Sadly i don't have much to say here but i will do my best. (they mainly just feel alike when watching).
One of the key things which is attractive to these is their main selling point which of course is comedy, they both excel in comedy, whilst MM! likes to play the masochist jokes a bit aside that they both are quite similar in comical apperances and excel in humour, One key feature they sell at is the sexual humor, SYD shines here whilst MM! is more a little masochist but it all comes to the same basket in the end.
Sadly i can't offer much explanation otherwise, trust me though, the feeling both generate is very alike and similar
Fifteen-year-old Yamada has just entered high school and is gung ho about achieving her ultimate goal: to have one hundred sex partners! There’s just one problem: she’s a virgin, and she hasn’t even had a boyfriend! To get the ball rolling, Yamada decides to target a shy boy named Takashi from her school; but even though he is also a virgin and she ruthlessly aggressive with her feminine ways, it’s not as easy as Yamada hopes. Though they begin to have feelings for each other, will Yamada and Takashi ever get past first base?
Probably the biggest similarity between the two are the huge amount of sexually related jokes and just their overall humor. While B Gata H Kei tends to focus a bit more in the relationship building department than Yakuindomo which mainly just sticks to the jokes both are enjoyable in what they do. If you liked one then you may want to check out the other.
These series both take part in high school and focus mainly on sexual exploits and puns. Although B Gata H Kei is more "romance" driven, they are both comedies and fairly similar in the fact that they focus on ecchi stuff.
Shows that emphasize on sex jokes heavily with little or no visually risque elements and with almost nonexistent romance.
Both animes have a huge amount of sex jokes and takes part in a Highschool. The main difference between them is that B Gata H-Kei is more romance driven while Seitokai is just random humor. If you liked one you'll like the other one
They both have a very similar style of humor. Expect a lot of very blunt, lowbrow but amazingly funny jokes and situations. I highly recommend you check this series out if you enjoyed the other.
If you liked one you will like the other: Same highschool sexual jokes and humor. Maybe B gata H kei focus a little bit more on romance and is more explicit.
If you like sexual jokes then both shows are highly recommanded. the onlu difference is that B Gata H Kei is more about the romance of a couple and Seitokai Yakuindomo is about a student counsil with perverts.
Kenji likes to think that he and his gang of friends are the bad boys of their school. That is, until he meets the four insane girls of a game-making club whose personalities are all super weird (and a little on the violent side). When Kenji’s forced to join their little group, his life quickly takes a turn for the outrageous.
Both are boke and tsukkomi comedies set in a high school, and feature a cast of pretty crazy girls with varying personalities as they barge their way into a guys life, and cause all sorts of mayhem in the process.
Seitokai Yakuindomo is considerably more perverted than D-Frag, which is more of a straight up comedy series, but i feel fans of one will find the other interesting.
These are both comedies that feature a cast of zany female characters that inflict themselves onto the male straightman. Both these shows are comedies first and the what plot there is comes second. Both shows feature tons of random humor that leaves the straightman as an island of sanity in an otherwise insane world.
Seitokai is much more focused on the perverted humor and a lot of the comedy is found in the fast paced dialogue. The humor in D-Frag is more varried with a lot of sight gags and physical humor to go alone with the verbal jokes.
If you're in the mood for some crazy humor then these are both good series to pick up.
School comedies with a crazy cast and loads of humor based off the straight man, crazy man comedy routine to great effect. Lampshades are hung, walls are broken and in Seitokai Yakuindomo's case, there's a perverted joke every minute. If there isn't one by the time the scene is over, someone will mention it. Pretty entertaining comedies and they don't often delve into drama and really heavy stuff so they're light on the brain.
In both of these awesome anime, the whole point is to have a good time. If you love laughing, you will love both of these. There are tons of jokes, and every episode of both anime made me laugh so many times. If you liked one, you will definitely like the other.
Both series involve groups of students and their irreverant comedic ways; both series are built on gags, with the main male character playing the role of the comedic straight man against the pure nuttiness of his fellow club members. SYD's comedy comes from sexual humour while D-Frag's gags are mainly around gaming activities, but otherwise the setup is similar.
Both great series with lots of crazy humour! Definitely recommended if you're looking for a laugh!
Ten-year-old genius Chiyo, animal-loving Sakaki, loudmouth Tomo, athletic Kagura, weight-conscious Yomi and dim-witted Osaka are six friends who share laughs, good times, and a high school homeroom. With scary (and sometimes perverted) teachers, school festivals, penguin suits and general hilarity abounding, you can be sure that there's never a dull day in the life of one of these students!
If you were to replace all the stupid (and hilarious) little jokes in Azumanga with overly perverted jokes, you would probably get SYD. They both focus on short comedy bits placed in high school.
So you got the formula Azumangah + perverted jokes = Seitokai Yakuindomo. Both have no plot, awesome characters and enough funny jokes to keep you busy for hours.
If you liked one you will probably like the other.
Both Azumanga Daioh and Seitokai Yakuindomo takes place in a highschool and both have random humor. The main difference is that Seitokai Yakuindomo have a lot of perverted jokes while Azumanga Daioh just have silly jokes. Both shows are really funny but, if you prefer perverted humor instead of random humor, watch Seitokai Yakuindomo, if you just want silly jokes and randomness, watch Azumanga Daioh.
Both of these high school comedies have a similar feel to them. There's a lot of rather quirky characters (mostly female) with a penchant for chibifying themselves; lots of gags and wordplay; and finally, virtually no overarching plot is to be found in either work. The main difference is that the humour in Seitokai is almost entirely based on sex and bodily functions while Azumanga has a more down-to-earth and situational approach.
Similar characters, both are school life, the only difference is that Azumanga Daioh focuses more on cutesy random humour and Seitokao Yakuindomo is a bit more on the perverted side.
