Tenma Tsukamoto is young, bright, and smitten with the school hottie Oji Karasuma. She's desperate for his attention, which is unfortunate considering he barely gives her the time of day! Throw Kenji Harima, the school delinquent with a crush on Tenma into the mix and you've got one twisted love triangle of unrequited proportions! Can love find the trio happiness before their attention-grabbing stunts end up hurting more than their egos?
Ranma, raised to be a man among men, has a bit of a problem: he is half woman! While training in China he fell into a strange magic spring at Jusenkyo. Now, he is eternally cursed to change into a beautiful woman whenever he is hit by cold water, but that may be the least of his problems; his father has betrothed him to marry! There's never a dull day for Ranma as he attempts to find a cure for his curse, train to become stronger, and grapple with the fact that half of himself may be more feminine than his fiancée!
School Rumble and Ranma 1/2 both have money-back-guarantees to keep you intoxicated with humor and screaming with splits of laughter, even though Ranma 1/2 is more fictional.
Ever since their first meeting at six years old, Hikari Hanazono has struggled to defeat her rival Kei Takashima at anything, whether it be athletics or academics. Special A = School Rumble + Ouran High School Host Club Male lead in love with the totally adorable and equally dense and clueless female lead who doesn't notice his feelings even if slapped in the face with them..... check.... Pompous, rich and good-looking people that can do anything and everything to perfection and are clearly superior to all humans and even posses hearts of gold.... check.... ^^ + all 3 are fantastic series
Megumi was a normal kid. He enjoyed getting into fights and mixing it up, and one day he did so in defense of a wizard who was being attacked by bullies. His reward was a magical book that was supposed to grant his wish. The mischievous demon inside the book decided to play a prank on Megumi, though, and instead of turning him into "a man among men," he became a girl. Fast forward to five years later, and Megumi is now entering high school, a tumultuous time for even normal teenagers, let alone a girl who is trying to figure out how become a guy again...
A school delinquent, who becomes more approachable and friendly after falling in love with the main character. I could well be describing School Rumble, but instead im thinking about Tenshi na Konamaiki.
Both animes are funny as hell while occasionally delving into the more serious but heartwarming love and friendship drama.
If you can get past the frankly awful drawstyle (and believe me, you wont even notice it after a couple of episodes) you will most likely enjoy Tenshi na Konamaiki.
The eccentric Suzumiya Haruhi wants nothing more than to meet aliens, time travelers and espers… but she’ll have to settle for the everyday Kyon instead! Along with the mysterious Itsuki and the vacant Mikuru, the duo forms the SOS Brigade – a club whose mission is to discover the mysteries of the world. Armed with a razor sharp wit and a skill for manipulation, Haruhi will stop at nothing to have fun at all costs, even at the expense of Mikuru’s dignity!
Both School Rumble and Haruhi are similar in the way that they show how a student's daily life can be interesting with the help of supernatural events, effort, and organized games.
Dimwitted Azuma Kazuma is a young man with a dream -- to create a bread worthy of the name "Japan", made by the Japanese people, for the Japanese people! Yeast, beware... Kazuma is in the kitchen!
Though School Rumble is actually fairly different from Yakitate, i still think they appeal the same people. SR is a harem comedy that surpasses the clichés despite using typical stuff. Yakitate does somewhat the same; it's an anime where you expect exaggerations, and yet it pulls it off very nicely and differs itself from the typical anime in the genre.
