There's a new teacher in town – Spelunker! This unusual man is anything but a typical instructor, giving speeches about traffic safety to the students, reacting strangely to a humidifier, and enjoying lunch – albeit with ample condiment mishaps. With such a bizarre new role model to learn from, Spelunker's students will never be the same!
If you liked the dark humour featured in Zetsubou Sensei you will most definitely like Splunker Sensei.
Both feature an incredibly strange teacher and the various encounters that they experiences.
Some people will not like Splunker Sensei it has a very unusual sense of humour, regardless I'd highly recommend each for one another, as both had me in stitches.
Second season of Tono to Issho.
These shows are highly referential and require at least some knowledge of Japanese culture and history to enjoy fully. However if you can get past that hurdle both of these shows can be very funny in the unexpected directions they take some of their jokes. Both shows are highly irreverant and will mock even serious topics. They both include lots of fast paced word play that can be hard to keep up with sometimes. Although they can both be hit or miss with their jokes the ones that do hit home can be hilrarious.
Hayao Imagawa, a 30-year-old salaryman, is visited by Daigorou, a god sent from heaven to help him get rid of his virginity.

After Shinbo came to Shaft, their animating style became almost religious, and since both anime come from studio Shaft, they share the same overal feel. Both are funky and bizzare to boot. But biggest similarity would definitely be the comedy.
