Strawberry Panic

Strawberry Panic

On Astraea Hill stand 3 prestigious female-only academies known as St. Miatre, Spica, and LeRim; and though the schools are separate, they share a single campus and dormitory. Nagisa Aoi is a 10th grader who has decided to transfer to St. Miatre's Girls' Academy. Though her transition has been smooth so far, while exploring the campus Aoi inadvertently falls down a hill, sees the beautiful Shimuza, and promptly (not to mention embarrassingly) faints. Nagisa continues to see Shimuza out and about, but soon discovers that she is the "Etoile" -- a well respected girl within all of the schools. With Shizuma taking a liking to the new transfer student Nagisa, secrets of Shizuma's past will unravel over the coming school year.

Maria-sama ga Miteru 3rd

Maria-sama ga Miteru 3rd

At the all-girls Lillian Academy, life continues at a slow page. Yumi and Sachiko attempt to elope during the holiday, but have an unfortunate encounter with some of Sachiko's old "friends" instead. Back at school, Yumi and rest of the Lillian student council concoct their next fiendish scheme: trick Sachiko into fulfilling her role as a judge at Hanadera Academy's school festival. And so, with potential petite soeurs, creepy stalkers and even creepier kidnappers to keep her life interesting (not to mention her limited “alone time” with Sachiko), the saga of Yumi continues. Luckily for the duo, their time together proves all the more precious for the trials they have to face.

when we speak about Marimite and Sasameki Koto we speak about a nice slow-paced romance aspect and of course a overwhelming shoujo-ai/yuri aspect. Both of them are school based so my guess is that if you like one of this two shows then for sure you will like the other one as well.

Minami-ke

Minami-ke

Meet the Minami sisters, three girls living on their own and doing their best to make it through life's little snags and adventures. Kana, the middle sister, has far more energy than common sense; Chiaki, the youngest, is more reserved, but her sharp tongue and devious mind often cause trouble for others; and Haruka, the eldest, acts like a mother to the other two, is beautiful and kind, but has a fearsome stern streak. Together, no obstacle can stand in their way, be it school, romance, or even cooking.

Minami and Sasameki have similar styles and characters.  The story centers around girls and there relationships with one another.  Kana like Tomoe is often trying to interfere with other people's lives in that nosy helpful intent but unsuccessful kind of way.  Ushio like Haruka never seems to realize what is going on around her and is totally oblivious to the most obvious signs of attraction from someone close to her.  Haruka and Ushio both exude and a feminine and cute exterior but seem to hide some secret about themselves they are embarassed about.  Kiyori like Chiaki seems to be always caught in the middle of schemes as  kind of an observer who often makes rather logical and even wise casual remarks while never showing a strong emotional face.  Masaki like Makoto ends up being forced to crossdress to be with a girl he likes and is even compelled or blackmailed into do it more often.  Both Masaki and Makato end up creating a little jealousy at how cute they can play the girl.  Each story takes place mostly around their local school and sometimes at common meet up places or one of their houses.  Many relationships often get entangled and cause confusion and sources of drama or comedy.  At least one girl in both stories worries she is too masculine and not cute enough.
