Mari Wakatake is the sole survivor of an apparent island tsunami disaster that took place five years ago; she has been raised and schooled by her grandmother from that day. But now, she has been sent off to a boarding school in order to grow and make new relationships; and it is there that she meets Senkouji Hagino, a mysterious girl who is liked by everyone – everyone except for Mari. But Mari soon discovers that Hagino is not what she seems to be, and as Mari struggles to figure out Hagino and fit in at school, an alien race is maneuvering in the shadows for their conquest of an unsuspecting Earth. Little does Hagino know that she herself holds the key to the truth of Mari's past, as well as the key to her future.
well this two animes have some similarities but also many differences. When we speak about Sasameki Koto and Blue Drop we talk about a warm shoujo-ai aspect. The difference between this two is that Blue Drop is centered more on sci-fi aspects while Sasameki Koto is concentrated on romance aspect.Even though there are many differences this two are very much alike in what i mentioned above so my guess is that if you like one of this two animes you will definitely like the other one as well.
At the all-girls Lillian Academy, life continues at a slow page. Yumi and Sachiko attempt to elope during the holiday, but have an unfortunate encounter with some of Sachiko's old "friends" instead. Back at school, Yumi and rest of the Lillian student council concoct their next fiendish scheme: trick Sachiko into fulfilling her role as a judge at Hanadera Academy's school festival. And so, with potential petite soeurs, creepy stalkers and even creepier kidnappers to keep her life interesting (not to mention her limited “alone time” with Sachiko), the saga of Yumi continues. Luckily for the duo, their time together proves all the more precious for the trials they have to face.
when we speak about Marimite and Sasameki Koto we speak about a nice slow-paced romance aspect and of course a overwhelming shoujo-ai/yuri aspect. Both of them are school based so my guess is that if you like one of this two shows then for sure you will like the other one as well.
