A fairly normal guy, getting away from his family for the first time is forced to live in a complex with a group of eccentric neighbors. Both these normal guy leads fall for one of these weirdos they've been forced to live with. It's a very simple but effective set up for a romantic comedy.  

Both of these shows have ensemble casts with the secondary characters getting plenty of screen time and development. The other eccentric characters are able to give the guy advice about his relationship or just bout life in general and this can lead to strong friendship. 

The normal guy in each show ends up playing straigtman to the wacky neighbors which creates a lot of comedic situations. However these neighbors aren't just jokes though, they have serious relationships and serious relationship problems. 

The main differences between the shows are Bokura using a lot of fast paced humor  and that Sakurasou is about artists rather than just normal students. However, at their heart these are both romantic comedies that have plenty of charm and will cause plenty of laughter along the way. If you liked one then by all means at least try the second one.

These two are not related in any way, but they're so similar they might as well be. Both feature a young teenage student moving in a new apartment complex where also lives a bunch of weirdoes. In both series, the main characters is at first a little off put by all the craziness that's going on at his new place, but eventually warms up to his new lifestyle, partly thanks to a new love interest.

They're both very funny, and at times even heart-warming, but what made Kawaisou and Sakurasou really stand out was their ensemble cast; a good mix of teenagers and young adults forming the main group. If you happened to watch and enjoyed one of them, I think the other is definitely worth watching so give it a shot!

Both series focus on a male lead who moves into a complex/dormitory and is met with a group of rather eccentric characters.  Kawaisou has a focus amoungst both adult ages and school ages which Sakurasou is more school/graduates but this doesn't change the living standard and how the guy sinks into his new home with the lets say "interesting" groups.

Both series do well in not only comedy but the characters themselves are quite some good fun and well developed. Each series throws us a miss match mixup of characters to create some good comedy.

Whilst i feel Sakurasou is a little more on drama or more specificly put serious and Kawaisou is a little more comical side they both have there bitter sweet moments of drama making them both interesting. So though Kawaisou is probably more romance comedy side of the coin it still has some good similar drama to Sakurasou, as with Sakurasou hold a simliar front on comedy being quite alike Kawaisou.

Im sure if you enjoy one of these two, the other will likely appeal to you.

Both Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou and Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo hit the same vibe and theme of a light hearted comedy with a slight dash of romance.

Both start with a relatively normal high school age male moving into a shared living space with a small collection of eccentric characters that quickly become their closest friends.

Both also focus on a single main love interest whom both of which also come with quirky personalities throwing the main characters into a wide array of easy watching comedic situations.

If you have watched one of the two and enjoyed the vibe of the show it's safe to same the similar rom-com tone of the other should be warmly received by you!

Both Anime is in a dorm type setting. Both deals with the ins and outs of going to school but that is where it ends. Sakurasou no Pet NaKanojo deals more with the struggles of an average boy living with Geniuses. Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou is more about a boy living with eccentric people.

Both of these series bring about a boarding house kind of situation with a cast of quirky characters living together. With a romance budding in both and awesome amounts of character development to be had, both series leave little to be disappointed about.

The relationship between the main couple in Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou and Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo are similar and develop at a similar pace. The breaks between humor and comedy are also really similar. Both animes share the same atmosphere.

Both amines share the same problem the MC faces. They are in love with a resident in their dorm.

Boku Wa minna kawaisou is more ecchi but in the sense of jokes and so on adding to its comedic value

 Sakurasou is more on the romantic side but still leaves room for comedy.

Both are 10/10 and I would definitky recommend both

Both anime have characters with quirky personalities. Both male protagonists are shy around the girl they like and both female protagonists have a quality that makes them unique.

These two animes are very similar.

Boy moves into boarding house with strange and eccentric housemates. Boy doesn't want to live there exactly. Boy meets girl, boy falls in love with girl but doesn't make much progress until the end. 

Very funny and both have romance that progresses slowly because the romance was mainly focused through comedy. Apart from the fact that Sakurasou are all students of the same school and are classed as geniuses whereas Bokura has housemates from all different types of backgrounds/ages, the Animes are practically the same.

I felt there was a bit more Drama and Serious moments in Sakurasou and the back stories were more developed on that the ones in Bokura whilst Bokura focused more on the story, both had moments that would draw you in making you want to watch more, all the same the characters were all developed very well and you heard a bit of a backstory for each one.

I also have to make a comment that whilst Bokura focuses on the Main Protaganist and his Heroine, Sakurasou also has side couples which I ended up shipping way faster than both the main couples.

Both anime have small ecchi moments in them so that is a fair warning to those who don't like any sort of nudity whatsoever, as for if you can cope then I reccomend

I guess I enjoyed the art style in Bokura more than Sakurasou, just for the reason that Sakurasou, all the characters looked similar as for Bokura had characters of all different sizes and shapes.

Whilst Bokura has 12 episodes, Sakurasou has 24 which gave a bit more appeal to me because I got to watch for longer.

Both animes drew me in until the end and had me laughing throughout so if you've watched one I reccomend watching the other.

And if you haven't watched either, why not. (I would pick from what length you want first then watch the other after)

Both are set in weird dorms with strange people who turn out to be really endearing. Even though the female character in Sakura is completely dependant of the male character while the one in Bokura is the complete opposite, the atmosphere is really similar and both those animes are relaxing to watch.

Both stories are in a boarding house full of crazy interesting characters. The male ends up there not exactly by choice and ends up getting close to a female character who is strange and needs help with simple things. Overtime the two characters build a relationship.

Both seem like generic school romances at first, but their quirky characters, great comedy, and heartwarming scenes make each worth watching. Both are also really about people growing up and figuring out how to live their lives.

Both series are high school romcoms in which the male lead is made to take care of his somewhat helpless female classmate (or kouhai in case of Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo). The key difference is the type of character the female lead is, in case of Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo it's a kuudere and in case of Toradora! it's a tsundere. Aside from the main duo both series also feature a small cast of their friends who have romcom drama of their own. If you liked one show, odds are you'll like the other one as well.

Both series involve a guy/girl main character duo, with the guy helping the girl do things in her daily life that she's not capable of doing on her own, as well as both series having an extremely awesome cast of characters with their own struggles with life and growing up, with romance, humor and lots of emotional moments.

While watching Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo, it's not hard to be reminded of Toradora! Both anime feature a diverse and colorful main cast who just can't seem to figure out this romance thing among themselves. Emotional character development drives both of these amazing school life series.

Being produced by the same staff is evident of their quality. Toradora and Sakurasou are up there in the high seats of romantic comedy shows that the other should appeal if one has left a positive remark on you.

Each show features a high-school setting and is woven with similar life drama that serves not to pad out the show, but to enrich it. Love is anything but simple, and they are alike in this regard, presenting dramatic tension and problems unrelated to the character's love interests.

Great writing with a strong cast on both fronts.

story revolves around a girl which is dazzling beautifull and a angel of innocense its a story about a girl who can't even take care of herself just brightens the road for other people around and give them solutions to there problem .....its commedy is the icing on the cake .....!!! its a must watch what so ever :P

Both animes deal with a main character with dreams or struggles as to the future. Toradora has plenty of romance and comedy, but it also has a dramatic and almost solemn tone behind it. Both were extremely enjoyable to watch! These two are my favorite romance animes, next to Your Lie in April.

Both shows somewhat have the "Girl who struggles with things", with Taiga being hopeless at housework and Mashiro being hopeless at everything. They both draw these into their romance storylines. Taiga is alot more violent than Mashiro though.

Now the animoo in question aren't copy cats yet rather little slices f life and love, no spoilers but if your looking for the after story and or the Adult years Like Toradora! You won't find that there, Toradora loved it, same goes for the pet girl of sakurasou so if your a fan of either, I recommend you watch the other

Wacky characters and insane antics are common themes in Denpa Onna and Sakurasou. Both include a male character living in a house with an abnormal female who needs special attention and care. Lots of comedic moments are included and of course, there's a bit of romance thrown in as well. If you like one, you're sure to like the other.

Both anime focus on the interactions of a regular highschool boy and a very "odd" female. They both have a lot of comedy and romantic undertones so they are similar in a lot of important ways. I'm sure you'll enjoy one if you enjoy the other so check them out!

At first after watching "Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko" I thought there was no anime comparable that could match the same type of comedy and the interestingly odd girl that the main guy has to take care of until "Sakurasou no pet..." aired.

Both animes have very eccentric female heroines and each show present their comedic antics in unique ways. Sakurasou is more of a drama though whereas Denpa Onna is alot more random overall.

Both of the shows start with the main character moving to another place and from there on he has to take care of an eccentric girl who doens't understand much of the world, the supporting cast is almost the same and both of the shows are comedy/romance/drama.

In both series the male lead takes care of a girl who is a little "special". In Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo the guy is forced into this situation, but in Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko the guy becomes involved willingly. Both series have a healthy dose of comedy, but when it comes to romance and drama Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo has more to offer. On the other hand there is no tsundere to be found in Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko which might even things out.

Last, but not least male leads in both shows shown some potential in being able to keep conversation with total weirdoes and even girls (which more often than not tend to be one and the same in those shows). It should be noted that the guy from Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko is much more skilled than the other (an than most of generic shounen leads).

To sum it up, because of many similar themes and some similar characters, it's very likely that you might like one of those two anime, if you liked the other.

Both Denpa Onna and Sakurasou focus around a Male who is forced in some respects to taking care of a girl who is a little... lets say special. They both feature a nice smooth feel of comedy commonly generated from Erio (Denpa) or Shiin (Sakurasou) but also have some fair amount of drama to assist them on the side creating a fun nice mix of genre giving them both a good feel as they progress. Sakurasou has the hand on drama however with more serious events taking place creating better drama, however you will find Denpa probably has the hand in comedy with Erio being how she is, creating a good even line.

Both series have a similar Theme and similar characters creating a great match between them, Sakurasou has the edge in drama and Denpa in comedy but i think if you like one of the two you should give the other a shot, they are both quite alike at the roots.

Aside from the obvious "normal guy helps weird girl" premise similarity, both series rely on strong interactions (both comedic and romantic) between delightful and charmingly wacky characters to generate much of the story--which is as heartfelt as it is absurd. And both, at (or very near) their cores, meditate on what it means to care--about someone, something, oneself--and how to balance that against the pressures of the world around you.

These are two incredibly beautiful stories that have you emotionally moved throughout the entire show. Though Angel Beats has less Romance than Sakurasou, they are both very strong Dramas that never mention filler (ever, seriously) and fill in all the blanks with well done comedy and adventure. They start a little light hearted with some comedy and happy backstory but get into the thicker story fairly quickly. Both of them also take place in their own little worlds (be it figurative or not) so you get very comfortable with the setting. Angel Beats is my number one favorite anime of all time, and Sakurasou is right there with it. Both of them are absolute must watches for any Drama or Romance fan.

Both of these animes feature very likable casts amidst a sea of quirky comedy and impactful melodrama that will tug at the heartstrings. Each cast of characters struggles to come to terms with who they are and treats each other like family, with Angel Beats centering around death and Sakurasou around jealousy and perseverence. If one of these animes endeared you, the other will as well.

OKAY YES both of these anime are real they have emotion flying out at you, you get to know the characters in a short amount of time at least in angel beats, Sakursou has more plot development. although both are comedy and sad anime Sakurasou made me cry at the end while it was more focused around the comedy yet they both had the real life situations of failure and sadness. like others have been saying main character is normal and both have a beautiful amazing kuudere. Both will capture your heart if you are a crier. if you are a crier, you'll die at these. at least i did. Anyway i LOVE them and i hope you enjoy

Both have the same feeling of joy and sadness at the end. Mashiro and Tenshi are very similar characters, and the theme of Angle Beats and Pet Girl of Sakurasou overlap each other nicely. I personally recomend both of these shows.

Sakurasou attracts a younger audeince than Honey but both are very similar. Both include a school with an arts program and both have a lead girl who is a bit strange but is a prodigy in the arts. Also the lead guy contemplates his future while surrounded by many talented people who are a bit strange. The comdey element it there in both as well.

The two are practically mirror images of each other, right down to some of the characters' quirks and the comedy/drama elements. 

Basically, both revolve around a group of friends' struggles with relationships and their lives/careers and can be pretty dramatic.  However, Honey & Clover is a more mature, josei take on it while Sakurasou is aimed at a younger audience. 

If you liked one, I can't see how you'd not like the other - even with the shounen/josei differences.

Both are art-school related dramas with comedy aspects, and romantic storylines (though Honey and Clover is arguably a much more emotional piece, and deals with the issues on a much more mature level/age range). If you liked the dramatic moments of "Pet Girl" but are looking for something that deals with simalar themes in a more dramatic and typically more realistic light (and if you don't mind crying a little) then this series is perfect for you.

Two incredible comedic romances between a relatively normal MC and an incredibly weird heroine. Sakurasou's heoine is a talented savant while Chuunibyou's heroine has chuunibyou (8th grade syndrome). The MC characters are tasked with taking care of the heroine and this situation creates a touching yet hilarious romance series. Both Sakurasou and Chuunibyou are both amazing comedic romances that you need to see.

While Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo has a bit more of a love triangle relationship than Bakuman, both are very similar in the characters drive to be the best at what they do. They both focus on the manga, anime industry as a profession, but Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo has gaming as well. They both give you a great feeling of giving your all and doing your best to strive for your goals.

Both of these shows are about doing everything it takes to achieve a dream.  Some people are naturally talented whicle others have to fight for every success, but there is more behind these people than appears on the surface, and both of these shows highlight that beautifully.  Both shows have unlikely, accidental friendships that develop into deep relationships (romantic and platonic), but they emphasize how much people can care for each other and learn from each other.  Sakurasou has more romance and comedy, while Bakuman is much more technical about how the manga world works, but each of these shows is much more than they appear to be and are both enjoyable and fulfilling.

Pet Girl is the darker version of Bakuman. Both have their own unique charm. Similar themes of hard work.

Pet Girl presents a powerful reality (unlike a lot of other slice of life romances). 

I recommend both very highly (though one should watch Pet Girl first, so that Bakuman can heal you afterward.)

The thing that connects both shows is the female lead. They might not be extremely similar, but both are innocent, naive and very amusing to watch. If you liked one of the shows for those aspects of the female lead, then the other one should prove worthwhile.

Although those 2 series seem quite different at a first glance, both contain an interesting blend of comedy drama and romance; Kokoro Connect being more dramatic whereas Sakurasou more humoristic.

Those shows explore the relationships between a group of students and in spite of an unrealistic setting (supernatural in Kokoro Connect or a bunch of weird people living together in Sakurasou) the way those characters interact with each other and their response to the occurring situations seem quite real.

Both anime have touching emotional moments, if you enjoyed one you may want to try the other.

Friendship and love are the main themes of these animes. Kokoro is supernatural while Pet Kanojo isn't, so there is a great difference in them, but nevertheless both are great slice of life and romance animes.

Sort of slice of life, sort of not (who cares wheter there's supernatural forces or not? Both are enjoyable!) and not exactly the same feel, but if you liked the feel of one it'll work the other way. Both funny, dramatic, unique, well-done, unforgetable and great watches in my opinion.

Both animes are about  the mc wanting to fulfill there dream to make there own video game, even though they both don't really have a good idea are really the skill to make a video game. Both anime also show a good of amount of the otaku lifestyle and both are also romcom.

Both these anime seem to be based around a boy who has a dream for doing something more in his life. This main also meets certain characters who have similar aspirations and even though Eriri has a more Tsundere character compared to Mashiro who has a more conserved look at her manga drawing, both this character share similar aspirations. The story is quite similar in the sense it is about the characters developing their ideas and such but there is certainly a bit more drama in Sakurasou. But even so both these series are worth checking out if you have seen one of them.

Well, in this anime we have the same type of protagonist (an indecisive guy that wanna work in the game industry) and in this one he has one tsundere friend who really love him but she doesn't gonna make him know about, and another girl that try to be a good friend with him since she fall in love with him. This is a romcom one, and also it's dramatic and maybe make you cry a little bit.
