The main characters, Aoba and Tsukune, both share a shy and timid nature,yet end up surrounded by beautiful women. Their character design is the same and they both end up thrown into a new highschool, each very different to what Aoba and Tsukune have experienced before. Rosario to Vampire does have a more ecchi and choppy storyline, while Tokimeki Memorial focuses on the romance and plot line, if you enjoy one show you'll enjoy the other as well.

If you liked Asu no Yoichi or Rosario to Vampire, you'd also like the other because both stories deal with young men coming to a strange new place for each of them and them trying to find where exactly they belong at. With the heros of both stories dealing with various obstacles as well as different types of enemies. During their journey both heros come across a wide range of characters some good and some bad they also as with the story of any harem develop several different potential love interests each set of girls in each story having a different set of personalities and physical traits. Each anime is extremely enjoyable full of comedy, romance, and just that little bit of action to keep things interesting.

Ayashi no Ceres and Rosario to Vampire, although seemingly unrelated the personalities between Ceres and Aya and Mako’s vampire form and human form have similarities in the characteristics they portray. The transformation has a more mature attitude and seems to be more capable all around while untransformed there is an innocent girl in place that relies on others for help.
