If you like school-based anime that doesn't focus on the learning so much as the relationships, these series are to your taste. In both, new characters emerge and relationships get complicated, in both there are friends and foes and the distinctions are not always evident. Look out for the 'stock' characters like the genius, the inept teacher, the unsure pupil and enjoy the shows!
