Ayakashi Kan is a haunted condominium where every resident is required to have a bodyguard. When socially inept Ririchiyo moves in, she’s looking for peace and quiet. However, she quickly discovers that her bodyguard isn't just foxy; he might actually BE a fox. In fact, all of Ayakashi Kan’s residents, and their agents, have both human and non-human ancestors. Welcome to the weirdest, wackiest mansion in town where no one is entirely human and mayhem is the order of the day in Inu X Boku SS!
Both of these series involve a variety of half human characters who band together and become friends. They are all trying to fit in with humans by going to school and doing other human activities.
Both Inu X Boku SS and Rosario to Vampire share many similar plot points such as: They both deal with monsters in human form and their relationships, they both have a comedic element to them as well as a romance element, and they both discuss the part monster/part humans relationships with regular humans. I would definitely give one a try if you like the other. Inu X Boku SS does have a bit more romance than comedy though, while Rosario to Vampire is a little more comedy driven.
The ordinary becomes extraordinary, as our protagonist Mahiro Yasaka – an average high school student – suddenly encounters a Nyarlathotep: a formless Cthulhu deity of chaos, who decides to take form as a silver-haired human-like alien. This Nyarlathotep – aptly named Nyarko – may seem like a normal gal, but there’s much more to her than meets the eye! In their encounters together, she ends up saving Mahiro's life, inextricably tying their lives together…
Nyarko-san and Rosario to Vampire have a lot in common. Firstly, they are both supernatural harem anime were the guy everything focuses on is human. Furthermore, both mix horror elements with comedy to get... well, comedy. To top it of they both have a bit of fanservice. (Though, in Nyarko-san's case it's more to the characters' enjoyment.)
They are not a perfect match, mainly because their sources pf humour are very different, but I think that if you like one of them you should at least try the other.
both are boy dealing with things normal humans are not supposed to see, one is aliens, one is monsters, both have harem and comedy, with the poor boy just trying to survive from day to day
Ever since Tomoki was a boy, he’s dreamed that the girl he loves vanishes into the sky. However, while he’s convinced it’s just a dream, his classmate Sugata is convinced that it’s related to an alleged ‘new continent’ that’s floating around the planet. According to Sugata’s calculations it’s set to pass above their town at midnight, and sends Tomoki to check it out. Little did Tomoki know that at that moment, a scantily-clad angel would fall from the sky! Calling herself a pet-class Angeloid named Ikaros, she promises to fulfill Tomoki’s every wish. Now, Tomoki is able to manipulate panties and do equally as perverted things with ease; but what is Ikaros really here for, and are her motives as pure as they seem?
Thay both have a good story line and thay both have funny moments the characters are all awesome.
Both are funny, have good plots, action and a Harem surronded by beautiful girls. Both start of with a regular teenage guy. But something super-natural happens to him and his life changes. I found both animes have comedy most of the time. And a good plot with action every now and then. The similarties are very close. I personally really liked both greatly. If you enjoyed one of them, please check out the other. Im sure its worth your time. :)
Asahi Kuromine is a high school student who supposedly cannot keep a secret. One day he spots his crush Yoko Shiragami, unfurling a large pair of wings from her back. She explains to him that she is a vampire and is only able to attend a normal school on the condition that no one discover her true identity. Asahi swears to keep her secret but finds it hard to maintain seeing as how Yoko herself is an airhead and Asahi's friend Mikan keeps bullying the two of them.
Neither Jitsu wa Watashi wa nor Rosario to Vampire really make much use of the main girl being a vampire, rather choosing to focus on cute girls and harem hijinx. Both shows expands the cast with other girls also having something supernatural about them, with Rosario focusing on monsters and Watashi wa on a mishmash of things.
If you enjoy the romcom aspect of one of the shows, you'll likely also enjoy the same aspect of the other.
They have a pretty similiar base story: in both animes there is a person who has a secret and another person or people that must keep the secret or that person would need to leave the school. Also they both have a vampire as the female main charecter.
Yukinari is blessed with an clinical fear of women, commonly known as gynophobia. In addition to his mental ailment, he has the misfortune of being short and weak, making it easy for women to overwhelm him further. Even when his childhood friend, Kirie, approaches him, he immediately breaks out in hives. Thus, life is very lonely for Yukinari, until suddenly in the strangest way possible, he is transported into another world, and into the arms of the beautiful shoujo, Miharu! This time, for the first time ever, he doesn't react. Could this be the start of something special?
Girls bravo and Rosario Vampire have one major thing in commun, and that is : FAN SERVICE.
If you enjoy the fan service in girls bravo then you will love it in Rosario vampire.
Another good and at the same time cute similarity that these series share is the romance between the main characters.
