But when it turns out that the culprit is Moka’s younger sister, Kokoa, that is hell-bent on killing her, the situation becomes more complicated. Now, Tsukune has more than ever to deal with; from being stalked by Shirayuki and trying to get closer to Moka, to the appearance of Kokoa who hates her sister’s sealed form and doesn’t think twice about attacking Tsukune, it is certain that it won’t be a quiet year for the students at Youkai Academy!

Both Rosario to Vampire Capu2 and Love Hina are very basic, not overly romantic harem "stories". Enjoyed how our male hero got himself in the mid of a group of cute girls for no particular reason other than fate? Enjoyed seeing how he got himself into ecchi accidents aplenty? Did you enjoy seeing the relationship between our lead character and the main female love interest grow with an agonizing speed? Then look no further, this is the anime for you!

Popotan

Popotan main image

Imagine a mansion with a Christmas goods shop that appears out of nowhere, housing three beautiful sisters and a robot maid, all with very different personalities and figures. These sisters are looking for information that they can only acquire from "popotan," their term for dandelion flowers. After acquiring a hint of this information, the mansion and the girls vanish. Their travels take them through many places, and they meet a varied cast of characters during their quest, but what exactly is this information they're searching for so desperately?

Both of these series are very heavy on the fanservice, but manage to be funny as well. While Popotan is a little more Ecchi, both deal with magic and are similar enough that they are worth a look.

Zero no Tsukaima

Zero no Tsukaima main image

In a world where magic is a reality, the young Louise is at the bottom of her class. Dubbed "Zero" by her classmates at Tristein Academy (due to her zero success rate for magic), Louise (along with all first year students) was charged with summoning a familiar; and instead of a cute magical creature, the familiar arrived in the form of... Saito Hiraga, a normal Japanese boy who was abruptly teleported from his own world?! Can both Louise and Saito come to terms with their new and complicated "relationship" and (more importantly) help Saito find a way home?

Shakugan no Shana main image

Sakai Yuuiji thought he was a normal high school student, until one fateful day when time stopped. Watching in horror, he witnesses a monster devouring the "frozen" people around him; but luckily for Yuuiji, he is saved by a sword-wielding red-headed girl that calls herself a "Flame Haze". The girl informs him that he has been dead for some time now and that his current self is merely a replacement for the human that he used be while alive. He is, she says, merely a torch whose life will come to an end when the blue flame in his chest ceases to burn. After this rude awakening, Yuuiji realizes that he is able to see the flames of life in other "torches"; and after discovering that a friend of his is also a torch -- and her life is burning out faster than his – he gains the courage to live out the rest of his life with meaning. Will Yuuji be able to find his place in the world before he ceases to exist?

Mainks

Both feature a male character stuck in an odd circumstance.  They both feature a school element, and an ecchi element that is displayed in the "harem" situation the male is in.  As a result the female characters tend to fight for the love / affection of the male leaving a tough choice for him to make.

Jingle Boobs, Jingle Boobs, jingle all the way.

Useless male protagonist in the middle of a harem. Of course he's their hero, even though he seems completely useless, but then there are moments of heroism. So manly!

Like one, love both. Or maybe the opposite.
