There isn't much similar about Romeo x Juliet and School Days, but both are enjoyable watches, and centre largely around teen romance, with some themes relating to love triangles (though this is more prominent in School Days). Characters go through pain and suffering, often in the name of love, and try hard to stay in one piece (mentally and physically) because of and for love. If you enjoyed Romeo x Juliet, and maybe are even looking for a more realistic look at painful romance, then check out School Days.
both animes show the love of a boy and girl and their struggles along the way and both have dramatic endings
Fire Children and the Children of the Water can never be together. Long ago, the God of Water and Goddess of Fire existed together as one entity, until the jealousy of the God of Wind drove a wedge into their relationship. They separated, and it became the law of the earth that their people must never see each other again. Now that the new heirs to the thrones are soon to be crowned, the Prince of the Sea is drawn to the ocean’s surface and meets the beautiful maiden that is the Princess of Fire. A fantastic love is formed between the two, but the flavor is bittersweet when all they can do is hide the fact that they have met. Love is powerful, but is theirs strong enough to withstand the will of the Gods?
"Forbidden Love" is the theme that Romeo x Juliet and Sirius no Densetsu share. They both shape the story and create gripping character development. If you liked one, you'll like the other.
The forbidden love aspect of the main characters in Sirius no Densetsu and Romeo x Juliet are heart breaking to say the least; with tragic overtones running throughout each series.
Although today Tono Takaki and Shinohara Akari live far apart due to a family move shortly after elementary school, they were once two shy young students brought together by their shared differences from their peers. It is because of this that the two built a bond of closeness between them that still survives through their continued correspondence, even over such a distance. Secretly they both fear the loss of this bond over time, and for this reason they arrange a meeting between just the two of them. The journeys both of them take in their minds and in their lives create an atmosphere of intense emotional upheaval, but also a sense of peace. It is a twist of fate and a series of decisions that put the two in place to carry what they choose of their pasts into the future they will create for themselves.

Alright so i know this might sound a little bit weird but if you are pretty lienient on animes, then i think if you liked "Romeo x Juliet" then you would like "I Love My Younger Sister" and also vice versa.
The animes may not sound too similar at first, but both of them are about two lovers who want to be together, but their love is forbidden. But, while one couple (Romeo x Juliet) is trying to find a way for them to be together, the other couple (I Love My Younger Sister) are trying to stay apart from each other.
If you are open to animes, mainly speaking towards "I Love My Younger Sister", then i think you would like both animes =)
