Synopsis:

The land of Chungwon is in a state of chaos – the government is all but powerless to stop the many rival gangs that each want to carve a kingdom for themselves, the Camillia Blossoms being the most powerful of them. Having seen what terror his fellows are unleashing, Danyoung, a highly skilled martial artist of The Five Dragons, sets out to fight for the people of Chungwon.

Imagine a world devastated by nuclear war, where the strong oppress the weak and strength is the one thing that will ensure survival. He's not an easy man to get rid of, and he returns - very angry.

Like Redhawk, this is a story about revenge, brave heroes and damsels in distress. Fist of the North Star has a more serious edge to it (and is a lot bloodier), but if you're an action fan and liked Redhawk, you'll like this one too. The fighting techniques used here are not as exotic and showy as in Redhawk, and like the anime itself is more serious.

Five years have passed since Goku and his friends defeated Piccolo Jr. and restored peace to the planet. Gohan - Goku's son - and a variety of good, bad, and morally ambiguous characters are back, and perpetually not ready for action! Aliens, androids, and magicians all hatch evil plots to destroy the world and it's up to Goku to save the Earth once more - that is, once he and his comrades train plentifully in preparation.  Enemies will become friends and power levels will rise to unimaginable levels, but even with the help of the legendary Dragon Balls and Shen Long will it be enough to save Earth from ultimate destruction?

Lots of action in both titles - they're both about fighting, getting better at fighting, fighting evil opponents, etc. The techniques used in Redhawk themselves are a bit more exotic and varied than in DBZ (even though some of them look extremely alike), but DBZ has more spectacular fights in return.
