In the school of Daimon High, martial arts and starting fights are the biggest ways to boosting your grades, which is excellent news for Ryoko Mitsurugi, the school most popular kendo beauty. Her popularity and fame spark an idea for the heads of the schools, K-Fight! -- a system where the best fighters for each school challenge each other to one-one or all out battle royal. However, soon the K-Fights start to draw unwanted interest, some not even of this world.

Kojirou-sensei, the rather indifferent teacher and coach of the school kendo club, is in financial dire straits. As a result, he makes a bet with his fellow kendo coach and former upperclassman to see who can assemble and train the better female kendo team, with the prize for Kojirou being a year's supply of food if he wins. Motivated by the idea of free food for a year, he begins to teach the club seriously; however, most of its members have already graduated, and so he is tasked with assembling members in addition to training them for the competition with his rival. While dealing with his eccentric students, he slowly rediscovers why he loves kendo and what it truly means to be a teacher.
Both comedic anime series centering around the characters practition of Kendo. With similiar goals in bettering oneself and relationships with other characters.
Both shows have girls as the main warriors, practicing kendo, and both take place at school. Bamboo Blade is a bit more low key compared to Real Bout, but if you like the theme from one of them, give the other a try.

Standing at seven feet tall, she has the ability to seemingly fly through the air. Trying to attain the highest level of excitement and tension, she searches for stronger opponents. Will she find them or will they find her first, as they fight it out in the aerial arena?
Takisawa Noboru is the new "blazing transfer student" at Honjakuniku High School -- an educational institution where matters are settled by the only logical thing: fighting! With his first 5 minutes marred by an unpleasant encounter with hall monitor Jonoichi Yukari, Noboru knows he's off to a bad start; but things only get worse from there! To win the heart of the fair maiden Takamura Yukari, Noboru must battle the resident badass of the school, Mushicho Ibuki, before Ibuki wins her as a trophy in the arena!
Both anime are about students at a school where along with studing they get to fighting fist to fist and it is completely normal! Real Bout High School adds in some lame magical stuff where Blazing Transfer Student focuses mainly on the fighting and a little romance. If you love schools that are stranger than normal check either of these shows out.
Heian University has been plagued with a rash of ghost-related attacks, and only the school's Astrology club can put a stop to the madness! Along with her nubile young sister Koran, bumbling classmate Kosaku and the club's lecherous president, the beautiful Kocho must bust out all her moves to defeat the angry spirits that haunt the school -- without losing her clothes too many times in the process!
There's actual nudity in Demon Fighter Kocho and only panty shots in Real Bout High School, but the combination of fanservice and action will probably appeal to the same audience. Young women fighting monsters in clothing that really hates gravity and staying in place... yeah, they should please the same crowd.

According to legend, whoever collects all 7 Dragon Balls will have any one wish granted. Join Goku in this hilarious anime masterpiece, as he races and battles to save the world from the forces of darkness. Who will find the balls first?
Both Dragon Ball and Real Bout High School revolve around people who form strong rivalries and solve everything with violence. Both shows have a pervy air about them without crossing the line into explicit territory. If you liked one, try the other.
