Galadriel

Both Shugo Chara Party! and Pretear, feature magical girl as a main tag. In both animes we start with girls who possess weird personalities and are unaware of their powers. If you like one of this two shows then you will definitely like the other one as well.

both are about groups of people fighting "bad" forces. even if the "bad" forces may not be completely "bad". tokyo mew mew is about a group of grils fighting and involves a little (or a lot depending on how you look at it) of romance, as does pretear. even though pretear is about a group of (optional: hot) guys and tokyo mew mew is cute girls.

nihonotaku

Both series have the whole mahou shoujo/tansfomation theme going for them, and they both involve a young girl who suddenly finds herself using her powers to save the world from some kind of evil. Both are similar enough in their feel in that if you enjoy one, you'll probably enjoy the other as well.

Both Pretear and Angelique center around a normal girl who's suddenly thrown into the middle of a handful of loyal and amazingly good-looking guys, all while taking the role of the "savior of the earth" of the planet they're thrown into.

Chances are that if you're a fan of one, you'd like the other.

Both anime feature teenage heroines searching for their identity and place in the world. Also, both feature strong fairytale themes--Pretear is (very loosely) based on Snow White, whereas The Cat Returns is an original story that has a lot of typical fairytale trappings. Although Pretear gets a little darker in tone towards the ending, both have warm, hopeful, lighthearted tones. I have a strong feeling you'll enjoy one if you liked the other.

Earl and Fairy

Earl and Fairy

Throughout the ages, fairy doctors served as liaisons between humans and fairies; but in the present time of the 19th century, fairies are nothing more than an old wives' tale. Nineteen-year-old Lydia Carlton is one of the only remaining fairy doctors and enjoys a quiet life in the countryside of England - that is, until the dashing Edgar, for mysterious reasons, whisks her away on a daring adventure. Said to be the descendent of the earl of the fairy nation, Edgar desires the noble sword of the merrow that serves as proof to his lineage. Though his motives and origins are questionable, Lydia now sets forth to help Edgar on his quest.

They both have strong main female characters. While Himeno is more teenaged & goofy, & Lydia is more adult & sure of herself; they both have one thing in common. They both have a man behind them, the men want to protect & love these women.

In Hayate's case, he's just too chicken to tell Himeno how he feels. Edgar is the opposite, he will do whatever it takes to make Lydia love him back.

They're both lovely & they are both enchanting stories.
