Synopsis:

In the Sinnou region, a young girl named Dawn is turning 10 years old; which means she can finally have her first Pokemon and embark on a grand adventure! With high hopes of living up to her Mother’s Pokemon legacy, Dawn sets out with the penguin-like Pocchama to find more Pokemon and compete in tournaments; but she won’t be alone in her journey! After helping newfound friends Ash and Brock rescue Pikachu from the clutches of Team Rocket, they all decide to travel together in search of fame and fortune. And thus, the three embark on a quest to become the greatest Pokemon masters of them all!

Seven kids are enjoying their summer when suddenly, a digivice appeared before them, and the next thing they know, they are in the "Digiworld." There, they meet creatures known as digimon. There are evil digimon in the Digiworld, but they are not bad in nature; rather, most of them have been turned evil by nefarious forces. Each child had a digimon waiting for them in the Digiworld; and though not all Digimon are strong, the digivice that the seven kids carry has the ability to allow their Digimon partner to evolve into a stronger type. Together, they will going to embark on a journey to save the Digiworld from pure evil and darkness!

They are both about kids who team up with animal-like creatures and grow as a person as well as a team. The kids meet others like them who have teamed up as well.

Digimon Season 3: Tamers

All Takato ever wanted was his very own Digimon; all Ruki ever wanted was a strong Digimon; and all Jen ever wanted was a partner Digimon. Their wish came true, but along with it a string of Digimon came to destroy the world and conquer it. This unlikely trio must now fight with their partner Digimon created from the mysterious blue card and stop the impending doom that is coming their way. Together with some other friends they explore the Digital Zone to find out what is happening, and to discover the mystery behind the D-Reaper. This is not just a regular digital monsters card game, because this time, the Digimon are real!

If you liked Digimon Tamers, then im sure youll like Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. both of these great series had a lot of fun and adventures. It focuses on a group of friends and there Monsyer-like companions trying to overcome many obsticals and become closer to there new friends.
