After Kaoru left his family, their bethrothal was nullified. Aoi sets out to find him. Will they be able to stand against the barriers that will try to keep them apart?
As Onegai Teacher has some sad parts so does AYA. Both have a good mixture of the ups and downs in a relationship, so if you liked one you'd probably like the other.
Ai Yori Aoshi has more romantic scenes than Onegai Teacher, but its comedy is just as funny. It's really good, and if you liked it you'll like Onegai Teacher too.
Both stories have two characters that are made for each other and then a bunch of characters that pretty much try to pull each other away. The extra characters are also not aloud to know that the two are together making it full of awkward moments.

In a world where an increasing number of people turn to these 'persocoms' for company, the bonds and limits of human relationships are tested as flesh manages to fall in love with the machine itself...
Chobits, like Onegai Teacher, is a light and somewhat humorous romance title that brings us our favorite anime character types: the non-descript male lead, and the unworldly gorgeous female.
Both Please Teacher and Chobits involve women of extra-ordinary origin who fall in love with a young man. They are funny, uplifting, and wonderfully drawn and directed. You'll fall in love while laughing through it all.
Onegai Teacher and Chobits are about love and romance, are ecchi, and are also a bit serious. Chobits is about a robot girl and Onegai Teacher is about a teacher from space, so they're kind of alike. =P
Both anime are romance stories about a normal boy falling in love with a not so normal girl. Chobits is a machine made to help humans with their day to day life while Please Teacher is an alien who ends up as a school teacher. With lots of laughs and a little bit of ecchi if you liked one you should like the other.
Both story have to do with love and the fact that you should love someone and show your love to them if you realy mean it.
Asami Onohara is a typical seventeen-year-old high school girl – except for the fact that she’s married to her physics teacher, Kyousuke Ichimaru. Since a relationship between a teacher and student is inappropriate, the two must hide their status from the world; in fact, the two have not yet consummated their marriage. As their everyday lives continue, new obstacles to their love present themselves daily. Can the two keep their secret safe, and will Kyousuke ever show his affection for Asami?
Both series have the same subject : the mariage between a student and a teacher. In both stories the main characters have to hide their love and marriage since it's forbiden and also they have to deal with the couple life that it's so very new to them and presents them with many problems each day
Okusama is like Please Teacher in reverse. The teacher is male, the student is female, and they must hide their forbidden love as they try to deal with things in every day life. Both series have a comical and serious approach to such relationships.
My Wife is a High School Girl and Please Teacher involve a marriage between a teacher and a student although the role in each are mixed by gender. They are very comical concerning how they have to hide their love from other people and deal with the problems of everyday life together.
" Both series it is on a relation of love rather prohibited with a teacher with a comical side who tries to prevent them from discovering his relation. "
Two shows about a student dating a teacher and their struggle to keep it secret from friends and classmates. Onegai has the female teacher, with Okusama the male.
Watching the couples struggle helplessly as people start to suspect about their relationship and dig deeper is quite funny.
The characters are very similar, both females are completely clueless and dependent on their male partners for the most simple of tasks. If you fantasise about this kind of woman, I would strongly recommend both of these series for you ^^
Sawamura Seiji is the most notorious delinquent at his high school -- always getting into fights and causing problems, leaving him single and unlucky with the ladies. After another long day of rejection, Seiji discovers that the love of his life might have finally appeared, but in the unlikeliest of places... his right hand?! Now, in addition to dealing with daily fights and the gossip of his classmates, Seiji must handle a new problem of embarassing proportions: Kasugano Midori, a pretty young girl in place of his hand, who happens to have fallen in love with him!
Midori Days has similar romance as Please Teacher, but also has more funny elements. If you love this genre and liked Please Teacher, watch Midori Days!
Situations are thrown at the boys in both Please Teacher and Midori Days either by a girl alien or by a girl stuck on your hand! These boys have to make it through with funny problems and comical situations that they find themselves in.
Both of the guys in these shows are out of the blue stuck with an unlikely girl in an odd situation. Both of the women of couse fall in love with them and cause conflict in the mens' lives. Both are hillarious and sweet.
I agree, there's love triangles, secret anomalies, tons of echi situations, and great comedic value. If you liked one I'm sure you'll love the other.
Fumihiko Matsumaru is a salary man who works in the marketing department of a snack company. As a bachelor, he tried to date a girl from his company; but coincidently, he met Aka Onda, a rookie voice actor, instead. Through another stroke of fate, Aka’s house burned down that very night. With nowhere to stay and no family to aid Aka, Fumihiko took her in; and the next day, Fumihiko’s new marketing idea was accepted, and Aka’s being hired for the product’s voice actor! As the relationship of Aka and Fumihiko deepens, the more difficult their relationship becomes. Can they live together under the same roof while keeping the secret of their relationship safe?
Living together doesn't assure the success of a relationship. It may be, actually, just a new beginning where you still have lots to learn; and it may (and probably will) bring the relationship various problems. In both Onegai Teacher and REC this aspect is present, Onegai just explores it a bit more; also, while the characters of both series live together and love each other, they still need some time to actually understand and get used to their feelings (being afraid is just part of the process) and become a "real" couple.
Please Teacher takes on a supernatural, unrealistic approach whereas Rec could potentially happen to someone however the main characters in each have to find a new beginning and keep their relationship a secret. They are also each filled with awkward moments and sexual tension between the two main characters
botha animes involve two people getting to live together under strange circumstances and there is romance developed between them
Well there are parts that are similar and parts that are different between the two. In Please Teacher it's about a teacher who just happens to be an alien living together with her student who has found out her secert. Then in Rec it's about a salaryman living together with a rookie voice actress. While portions of the overall story are fairly different they both deal with the same thing which is two people living together and the relationship that grows as time progresses as well as the characters coming to understand their feelings.
