Teekyuu

Teekyuu
  • TV (12 eps x 2 min)
  • 2012

Kanae, Marimo, Nasuno and Yuri are four friends who make up a tennis club at school. Whether they're going to a bakery to eat cakes, wrestling Yuri's panties from Marimo's mouth or actually playing tennis for once, the girls always manage to have a fun time in the process.

Both series are about girls at school being very random and funny. They both have short episodes as well so they get their quirky "plot" to the point right away. Teekyuu as a sub "plot" of tennis where Plastic is just school wackiness. Both shows are very quirky and out there but if you enjoyed one you'd probably like the other

Nicknames

Both shows are really fast-paced comedies who revolves around school girls doing random stuff. Also both of them are quite short and have no plot.

In short, they are so similar that if you liked one of them you're going to like the other.

LinkSword

Both shows are very fast and random, with a similar sense of humor which throws plenty of well-executed nonsense at you to make you laugh. Teekyu is even more frantic, but if you had fun with one you'll most certainly enjoy the other. I know I did!

Bradalee

Both shows are shorts that are filled with chaotic, random humour. The viewer gets bombarded by jokes one after another without pause, with absolutely zero time spent on any meaningful plot.

If you enjoyed one of these shows then the other will definitely be to your liking.

AngelBeatsYui

To start off, both these series are completely random with absolutely no storyline at all. They both are two minute episodes and in those two minutes you will be as confused as ever. So if you like a light series with no emotional content like plastic nee-san you should like Teekyuu and vice versa.

Random and often crude gag humor in those two is definitely among the best what shows of this type can offer.

Both series keep a fast pace with their jokes, which work brilliantly bound by Dokuro-chan's loose plot and Plastic Nee-san's short format of episodes.

ZetsubouKaiji

Random, fast paced comedy with a group of friends that like to pull pranks and torture each other. Both these shows can get pretty crude with their comedy, but they remain consistenly funny. Dokuro-chan is a lot more violent than Plastic Nee-san and has a lot more blood. Both show have a lot of ecchi scenes. If you liked one then check other the other.

Bradalee

Plenty of fast pace, incredibly random comedy and a group of girls who love to cause mayhem, play pranks on and abuse each other. Both can get pretty crude at times, but it never goes too far in either. There is also a splash of ecchi in each.

I'd say Plastic Nee-san is the better of the two by quite some distance, with Dokuro-chan being a lot more violent.

Cromartie High School

Cromartie High School

At Cromartie High, it’s tough being a delinquent -- a fact that do-gooder Takashi Kamiyama intimately understands. When he’s not engaging in contests of strength and rival gang wars, Kamiyama can also be found submitting punny jokes and planning his own rise to fame within the delinquents’ ranks, and that’s just the beginning! With friends like robotic Mechazawa, a giant gorilla, a hairy man from the 80s named Freddie and a clan of delinquents with mohawks that flow in the wind, how can anyone not enjoy high school?

Both series contain brilliant crude and random humor in short episodes (+Tic 2min, DMC 13min). The only major differences are that Detroit Metal City has a loose plot and has more "adult" humor, whereas Plastic Nee-San is lighter with its jokes and doesn't have a plot.
