They failed the end-of-year exams, and now Rei, Himeko, Miyako, Kurumi, Otome, Yuuna and Serizawa find themselves facing the unpalatable prospect of retests - that is, unless they can win a game of kick-the-can against the rest of the students and staff. However, this means that they must contend with genius teacher Becky Miyamoto, who is determined to stop them from claiming victory. With bizarre occurrences and heavy artillery very much the order of the day, the girls will need to be sharp, smart, and very, very lucky!
Yuuko, Mio and Mai are regular high school girls who lead a normal everyday life. However, with bizarre explosions causing random objects to rain down on their heads, lunch turning into an epic battle between girl and wiener, and students riding to school on goats, their lives are anything but ordinary. Meanwhile android Nano spends her days wishing she were a normal human, but keeping house for her creator, the playful and immature child genius Hakase, dealing with talking cat Sakamoto, and trying to keep a hold of her multitude of easily-detachable body parts, her dream is far from a reality...
Both pani poni dash, and nichijou are comedic, and take an over the top method of humor to entertain an audience. They both have loveable characters, and a unique take on reality.
