after going back and refreshing about the characters in these series, it's obvious many are mirror images of each other. in regards to character templates. without giving away spoilers, both anime have the amnesia and "choosen one" complexes, lone wolf characters, "Muscle of the group", and entrepreneurship. plus the main characters both have tragic losses in their respective families. many more similarities...
