Ouran High is a school for the extremely wealthy or, in Haruhi's case, the extremely talented. But no amount of talent will help when Haruhi accidentally drops an eight million yen vase in a music room. The vase was the property of Ouran High School Host Club, a group of attractive young men who, for a fee, provide their time and affections for their lovesick clientele: the female students. Fascinated by this strange new specimen, a poor and clumsy commoner, they force Haruhi to work for them until the debt is repaid; but they get a lot more than they bargained for...

Although these two shows are part of different genres, they both have a solid cast of characters and spend a lot of time actually parodying the genres they're a part of. They take themselves juuust enough seriously to make you care about the characters and plots, but they're never above cracking a joke or poking at the fourth wall to show how silly their genres can be at times. If you enjoy comedy and fun characters, there's a good chance you'll enjoy these shows.
Yamato Akitsuki has recently moved to Tokyo, and in order to maintain his less than wealthy lifestyle, he currently works at his aunt's bathhouse. While walking by the school one evening he sees a girl by the name of Suzuka practicing the high jump, and is instantly in love. Even better is the realization that Suzuka lives next door! Determined to prove himself worthy of her affections, Yamato decides to join the school's track team and show her what he’s got, but things won’t be so easy; for Suzuka has a love interest of her own, and it isn’t Yamato...
Both Suzuka and Ouran have a great mixture of love and comedy and are sure to get you hooked. Once you watch one episode, you wont be able to stop.
Megumi was a normal kid. He enjoyed getting into fights and mixing it up, and one day he did so in defense of a wizard who was being attacked by bullies. If you like Tsubasa Chronicle then you'll defently like Ouran High School Host Club and vice versa, both have a way of making you laugh out loud and you'll aww over the main characters. Story lines may differ but the meanings behind both anime remain the same. They both have a way of making you laugh and smile and maybe even cry, heart telling romances, and characters from two different life styles fall in love.
