There’s no denying that Mizuho is beautiful. Normally that might be a bit of a disadvantage seeing as he is an average sort of boy who enjoys sports and games. However, his beloved grandfather has just passed away, and the will includes a strange request; his grandfather wants him to become closer to his mother's memory by attending the same all-girls academy she did for a semester. Obviously he can't hide his gender from the teachers of the school; so he will need their approval, but he also can't expose his gender in front of his fellow students. With the help of his child-hood friend Mariya, his own natural beauty, and just a little bit of luck, Mariya may just be able to fool his fellow students! Considering the turn of events, there may be more to his grandfather's dying request than meets the eye...
Hazumu is a shy and quiet boy who loves flowers and is forced to rely on his tomboy childhood friend Tomari as a bodyguard. Yasuna is the prettiest girl in school but she avoids men like the plague… until she meets Hazumu. Encouraged, he confesses his love; heartbroken, he heads for the mountains to be with his flowers. As if Hazumu’s troubles aren’t enough, his day is further ruined when an alien ship accidentally kills him. Luckily, alien technology exists that can revive him, but not without a price: Hazumu returns from the dead, but in the form of… a cute girl?!
In both Kasimasi and Otome the main character is a male who has transformed into a female. In a school setting, girls start to fall for them causing awkward scenes and events. If you like the cross dressing thing then you would like these two shows.
Both Otome and Kasimasi involve a guy who has gone through an unexpected transformation. Neither is quite happy with the change at first but must learn to adjust. You will enjoy watching these two find themselves, and learn about a girl's world!
For the young women at the Lillian private school for girls, nothing is more prestigious than Rosa Sinensis, Rosa Gigantea, and Rosa Foetida, the beautiful and talented women who head the student council. When a young girl named Yumi's path is intertwined with Sachiko, a successor to the council, things will never be the same for the both of them. Maria-sama ga Miteru is a quiet tale of forbidden romance, friendship, and the everyday life of a school girl.
As with this one, there is an element of shoujo-ai that is apparent in the main characters. If you like two girls getting serious then you'd like Maria-sama ga Miteru.
Both anime are somewhat similar - they take place in an all girl's school and the senpai have onee-sama to take care of them.
Megumi was a normal kid. He enjoyed getting into fights and mixing it up, and one day he did so in defense of a wizard who was being attacked by bullies. His reward was a magical book that was supposed to grant his wish. The mischievous demon inside the book decided to play a prank on Megumi, though, and instead of turning him into "a man among men," he became a girl. Fast forward to five years later, and Megumi is now entering high school, a tumultuous time for even normal teenagers, let alone a girl who is trying to figure out how become a guy again...
Tenshi and Otome involve a guy who has gone through an interesting transformation. However, unlike in Otome, the 'guy' in Tenshi isn't so pleased with the situation. You'll have a fun time watching these two characters as they both take over their respective schools and learn more about themselves.
A boy trying to be a girl. Classic way to make people laugh, but with a serious side aswell. Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru I'm sure will surprise you with going beyond the normal guy being a gril jokes, except for a few classics. Both of these animes are very worth the watch and if you liked one your bound to like the other. ^_^
Shy, crybaby Fumi has just transferred into Matsuoka Girl’s High School, in the city of Kamakura. It’s been ten years since she moved away, leaving her dear friend Akira behind; and soon, the two are reunited once more. Akira is now attending Fujigaya Girls’ Academy, though she and Fumi still manage to see each other regardless. Between classes and social engagements, the two will experience love, the struggle to admit one’s true feelings, and the joy of companionship.
you like shoujo-ai animes and looking for 1? then Aoi Hana and Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru are a must to watch if u truly like shoujo-ai animes. If u watched one of this 2 animes im sure that u will like the other also.
In a high school setting, there are many people whose stories must be told: Hiro, an aspiring manga artist whose view of the world is "missing a certain color," according to himself; his childhood friend Kei, who is vying for his attention; Kyosuke, a photographer and cameraman who seeks to capture true emotion in his work; the ever-cheerful Miyako, who meets Hiro by chance and immediately becomes attached to him; the gentle Renji, unsure of his aspirations to become a novelist; and Kei's mysterious and quiet sister Chihiro, who seems to be a different person every day. As time passes and they interact with one another more, their paths increasingly intertwine as shades of regrettable pasts emerge.
The feel of these two animes are somewhat the same and also the drawing style if also very similar. The vibes they give off are hard to describe but for me they both churned similar feelings. While this may not be a 100% valid reason for recomending one for another, you will surely love both Ef - A tale of memories (more drama) and Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru (more comedy).
