Long ago the infamous Gol D. Roger was the strongest and most powerful pirate on the seas. As he was about to be executed he revealed that he hid all of his wealth, including the legendary treasure known as One Piece, on an island at the end of the Grand Line - a treacherous and truly unpredictable sea. Monkey D. Luffy is a spirited, energetic and somewhat dim-witted young man with a very big dream: to find One Piece and become the Pirate King! However Luffy is no ordinary boy, as when he was younger he ate one of the Devil's Fruits and gained its power to become a Rubber Man. Now in this grand age of pirates Luffy sets out to gather a crew and sail to the most dangerous sea in the world so that he can fulfill his dream... and maybe even his appetite!

As Kenichi's life-threatening training continues and he becomes more and more powerful, he inadvertently becomes the target of the deadly gang called Ragnarok. With mental and physical challenges ahead, can Kenichi survive his encounters with Ragnarok, or will the masters of his dojo get to him first?
I think both anime are great and have important things that match: they both have a lot of action, both of the main characters have a dream, and the most important reason for me is that in both anime the comedy and action is divided in the same way. One thing that's different is the drawing style; if you've watched Kenichi first and then watch One Piece you may think One Piece is drawn a bit weird, but you'll probably get used to it really quick. This, of course, doesn't matter if you've watched One Piece first. Another difference is that in One Piece people have special (magic) powers and they don't have that in Kenichi. I think that if you liked Kenichi or One Piece, then you'll like the other one as well. I felt the same feelings with both anime.
The main characters of these shows have a lot in common. Both Luffy and Kenichi fight single-mindedly for their dreams and their nakama. Both are surrounded by a super-powerful, strange yet likeable team who help them get strong enough to beat each new challenge. Both have other interests (Luffy=eating: Kenichi=big boobs) which they're passionate about too ^-^Also, both shows feature some good fighting, solid plots, lots of suspense, and plenty of funny moments. They're both great, and if you enjoy one you'll definitely like the other!
Takamine Kiyomaro is a junior high school student who thinks he’s too smart for school, to the disappointment of his mother. On his 14th birthday a surprise literally crashes through Kiyomaro’s window, in the form of… a small naked child?! His name is Gash Bell and his goal is simple: be a mentor for Kiyomaro, at the request of Kiyomaro’s departed father. In return, Kiyomaro must help discover the secrets behind Gash Bell’s amnesia and his past, with only a red book as a clue. As if things weren’t crazy enough, Kiyomaro soon discovers that Gash Bell is a demon -- one of many on Earth -- who can be forced back to the demon world if its corresponding book is burned. Armed with the power of the red book, Kiyomaro must now help Gash Bell defend himself against other demons who want to vanquish him from the Earth, lest his newfound friend vanish forever!
Both series share the same sense of drama, comedy and character development. If One Piece had an effect on you Konjiki No Gash Bell will too!
Humor in both are very similar. I could be a really serious moment but it a split second you could start laughing at the random humor. They both have wacky characters, funny facial expressions with large mouths.
In the revolutionary Meiji period, Japan is undergoing enormous political change. In a bizarre fantasy world, students known as meisters are trained at the illustrious Shinigami Weapon Meister University; but the tools they wield are no ordinary weapons! Each meister is paired with a human-like being who can transform into a weapon at will; and after defeating a pre-kishin - a human whose soul has darkened - the weapon eats the soul within it. A meister's ultimate goal is to collect ninety-nine pre-kishin souls and one of a witch so that his or her partner will become an all-powerful Death Scythe. Maka and her partner Soul Eater; Assassin Black Star and his partner Demon Blade Tsubaki; and Shinigami's son Death the Kid and his partners the Demon Twin Pistol Thompson Sisters each vie for their ultimate goal, but plenty of challenges and adventures lie in their way!
There's an element of similar weirdness that permeates both One Piece and Soul Eater. Although the two anime don't share many plot points (apart from their quintessential shounen-ness), they both have a tone of over-the-top antics. People with weird and powerful abilities battling other people with weird and powerful abilities, the whole dominated by personalities that are so weird as to make the rest of the story seem almost vanilla normal.
If you like a series where every other battle makes you scratch your head, thinking: "How are they ever going to top that for weirdness?", then these are the anime for you.
They both have great action/fight and a great story. Luffy from one piece want to become a pirate king and soul wants to become a death sythe, you follow them both on their way to reach it and strong opponents appear which they have to defeat to reach their goal
