The future of humanity is in peril, as they are confronted with the threat of an intergalactic clash with a warrior-like alien race, and the only one who can save them is... Captain Tylor?! Join a crew of misfits and rejects including an alcoholic doctor, a gorgeous nurse, an anal-retentive commander and a bunch of really stupid marines as they try to make it out in space and to discover whether their captain is a misunderstood genius or a total moron like he seems to be.
Leadership is a very difficult thing. Someone says you can’t learn it but only gain from God. For Luffy and Tylor it's absolutely true. Main screen time they acting like fools without realizing what’s really going on, but when time comes they somehow managing to turn everything for their own benefit. Two desperate heaven-born captains definitely put these series together.
If One Piece’s length and Captain Tylor’s release date doesn’t scary you go ahead and watch them. You won’t be disappointed because a great comedy is a one more reason to unite these series.
Once upon a time, two brothers passed the happy days of their childhood by studying alchemy, which is governed by the equal transfer principle: an eye for an eye -- you can't get more than you give. But these brothers tried to defy that law, and a horrific accident resulted. Now, the older brother, Edward, is called the Full Metal Alchemist because of his metal limbs, and the younger, Alphonse, is a soul without a body, trapped within the confines of an automaton. Together they search for the power to restore themselves, to find the lives they lost so long ago...
The soul of the demon Mouryou has been freed, and with it his ambition to take over the world and create a "Thousand Year Kingdom." However, he will first have to recover his body from where it was sealed by the priestess Miroku. The only threat to his plans is Miroku’s daughter Shion, the only one with the power to stop him – and it will be up to Naruto, Sakura, Lee and Neji to escort her safely to once more seal Mouryou's soul. However, things won't be easy for Naruto and the gang: Mouryou has control over an unstoppable ghost army and has sent four ninjas to kill Shion; even more alarming is Shion’s newest vision of an impending death… which involves Naruto himself.
Luffy is pretty much Naruto in a pirate suit with a flag.. Except maybe alittle more clueless and loves meat awhole lot more then noodles. Seriously though, Naruto has his dream to become Hokage. Luffy has his dream of becoming the "Pirate King". Both are the highest titles one can obtain in there respective "Career Choices". Overcoming numerous challenges and obstacles along the way, winning the hearts of friends and people alike without ever losing a shred of their aloofness. The way I see it, I keep on bouncing between Naruto epi's and One Piece epi's. The way my favoritism wavers the age old question may never be answered... "Who would win, Pirates or Ninja?"
Gene Starwind and Jim Hawkins make a living on various jobs and bounties. While waiting for their ticket to hit it big time, a mysterious woman named Hilda leaves them with a key to the puzzle of finding a starship of great power, known only as the Outlaw Star. Along the way she finds two companions: the kind-hearted human Kyrie, and aspiring hero and beast man Toppi. Together the trio travels the world, always staying out of reach of the World Salvation Committee. Will they discover the secrets of the Destruct Code, and more importantly, succeed at destroying the world?
Its not just the action. Its not just the bonding of the friends involved. Its the good old fashioned adventure type series that drew me to both of these shows.
Both set in a world very different from our own, One Piece and World Destruction feature some fascinating characters that are met along the way. not always human, and with a pinch of fantasy, these series will appeal to someone with an active imagination.
If you enjoy seeing a closely knit group of desperados exploring the world around them, fighting aversity, you will enjoy both of these shows.
