Neko Rahmen and Tentai Senshi Sunred take unexpected and inhuman characters (be it a cat, superheroes, or monsters) and put them in everyday situations. None of the other characters find this odd, and life continues as normal. Both are short enough so that the main "joke" doesn't have time to get old. If you like finding humor in the mundane, you will probably enjoy both of these series.
Both Neko Rahmen and Tentai Senshi Sunred place characters in unexpected situations to humourous effect. If you enjoyed the wacky comedy and general tone of one then you may want to check out the other.
Every town needs a hero. Unfortunately for the human residents of Dark City, theirs is a stray cat. Swooping from roof to roof, its first thought is always of food or being able to catch an elusive mouse – saving the day is just a fortunate side effect. From rescuing lost children to putting a stop to careless littering, Dark Cat finds himself caught up in numerous problems – though caring about none of them. As his name spreads, he finds himself the center of attention as reporters desperately try to snap the unlikely hero. Cheeky and mischievous, this feline favorite wants to protect his kind; but can this renegade kitty stay out of the clutches of a mayor determined to rid the city of strays?

Both anime are about cats causing mischief for the town they live in. Both have interesting animation from the norm and have short episode lengths. Both are cute comedies that are sure to get a giggle or 2 out of you. I found Neko Rahmen to be WAY more hilarious. Check out one if you liked the other.
Both Ankoku Cat and Neko Rahmen are short animations that focus on the lives of an odd cat who has a habit of causing mischief. Both are fairly comedic, particularly when it comes to the reactions human have to the felines' antics.

If you liked the fast-paced and wacky nature of the comedy in either Gag Manga Biyori or Neko Rahmen then you may want to try the other. Both have a similar feel to them, and since both series are short, they are easy to slot in whenever you have a spare few minutes.
A lot can happen in a minute. Aliens can begin their invasion of Earth, only to be thwarted at the first step; cats can plot their revenge on their careless owners; and children can frolic in the fields with a giant robot. Ever wondered what the average day in the life of an animator is like? Or can a small pellet-spitting alien distract a young boy while he reads manga, in order to escape from his room? And will the machine that a small boy and his pet built allow him to steal a kiss from a girl? From following a group of young women recovering from heartbreak, to the owner of a music store who views his customers as little more than cash on legs, still “the clock ticks on and on in 60-second cycles.”

Ani*Kuri15 and Neko Rahmen have similar purposes: each episode is animated by a different animator with a different vision/artistic style. These animators had to work around tight restrictions (a pre-determined concept in Neko Rahmen and a criminally short time limit in Ani*Kuri15), but the results are fascinating, nonetheless.
Both are really short, and easily finished whenever you have a tiny bit of free time.
Reinya is an ordinary convenience store clerk – by day that is; but at night she becomes the notorious thief, Kaitou Reinya. From her secret underground base, the young robber spends her time freely alongside her accomplice, Chutaro, as she plans her next great heist or simply watches her favourite soap opera. No matter what the loot, as long as it’s gold and catches her eye, then Reinya will steal it and claim it for her own, all while avoiding the semi-watchful eyes of the Oedo Police Department.
Both anime are about cats or cat like people causing mischief for the town they live in. Both have interesting animation from the norm and have short episode lengths. Both are cute comedies that are sure to get a giggle or 2 out of you. I found Neko Rahmen to be WAY more hilarious. Check out one if you liked the other.

While the two series focus on very different things, both Neko Rahmen and Naked Wolves have a similar gag-style of comedy focusing on a new (mis)adventure each episode.
Miki is a psychotic mascot, waitress and delivery girl who works at her equally as frightening mother's ramen shop. Both survivor and instigator of years of ruthless, no-holds-barred domestic violence, Miki has a capacity for destruction usually found only in people with things like "the Impaler" added to their name. Yet, she also has a kind side to her and is often found going implausible distances out of her way to rescue both proverbial and literal lost kittens, though some malignant souls might misconstrue this as merely ditching her work...

Both shows immediately reminded me of each other. Asides the fact that they mainly deal with ramen, both involve spontaneous actions and hilarious scenes! If you liked one, the other is a definite "want to watch."

If you like shows that take animals and place them into human situations these 2 anime are a perfect fit! Shirokuma Cafe is much longer than Neko Rahmen and Shirokuma Cafe has many different animals where Neko Rahmen just has a cat but both will make you laugh tonnes at the silly situations these animals get into! Check em out.
The story revolves around the first professional cat pitcher Miitarou, who plays for the "Nyiants." Miitarou has a great but unusual playing style distinctive of cats: he dozes off on the pitcher's mound and uses the bat to sharpen his claws.
