Both are about a guy who gains a mystic power, they team up with other with skills to help reach their goals. Both animes ar action packed with parts of comedy too.
I think you will like this anime because it has the same sort of well rounded entertaining plot. Both have action and both have comedy. Both seem to lack romance but still have it slightly hinted at parts, although nothing ever comes of it. The graphicz and style is much the same and both are spectacular animes!
The foundation of alchemy is based on the law of equivalent exchange; you cannot produce something from nothing. As such, alchemy is bound by one taboo - human transmutation. Four years ago two young brothers, Edward and Alphonse Elric, broke this taboo when they tried to resurrect their dead mother. During the process Al's body disintegrated and Ed lost his leg. In a desperate attempt to prevent his brother from disappearing completely, Ed sacrificed one of his arms so he could affix Al's soul to a suit of armor. When his missing limbs are replaced by auto mail parts, Ed bears the name of the Fullmetal Alchemist - the youngest ever State Alchemist and dog of the military. Now, alongside his brother, Ed uses his status within the military to attempt to find any way that he can return their bodies back to their original state.
These shounen animes have the same basic premis. A group of young specially skilled heroes in search of adventure and to defeat the evil that threatens the greater good around them. Great battles and comedy hijinks accompany them on there journeys. Whilst the theme changes slightly with each anime the engaging story, great characters, exciting fights and comedy are ever present.
Both shows had a large cast of characters that develope really well. Naruto uses ninja arts and Fullmetal uses Alchemy. The fight scenes are very similar, the hero is losing the battle but finds strength through their friends to come back and win. The only complaint i could possibly have that sets them apart is that Naruto does not have quite the impact that fullmetal has. I watched the dub version, even though i was told not to, so it could just be the dubbed but it seemed to hold back, whereas fullmetal would hit you really hard with things like a man who combined his daughter and dog into a monster. If you liked Naruto you will love Fullmetal and if you liked Fullmetal, you will either love Naruto or dislike it depending on what you liked in Fullmetal.

Naruto and Ikkitousen are both very good anime that focus on fighting. If you are the kind of person who likes fighting anime, you should see both of these anime.
Naruto and Ikkitousen shares many things, especially the fact that both lead roles of the animes have a monster inside of them they need to find a way to live with or destroy.
They both experience situations where they can't control their inner beast and do things like hurting the ones they care about, without having any recollection at all of what happened when their own soul takes over the body again.
Both animes takes place where fighting and honing your skills in fighting are as natural as breathing.
They are both full of humour and are sure to make you laugh at some point.
If you liked one you will surely like the other.

This anime is just like Naruto based on friends and friendship which you'll need to accomplish your goals. They both have to undertake 'impossible' quests to protect their friends and be happily ever after! That's why you'd like both these animes!
Both anime's are about the main character who wants to complete his goal and has its own kind of way of making it. During that journey he makes new friends who will help to reach this goal. Also both anime's include good fighting scene's.
