Bleach, like Naruto, is also a great anime to watch. The action in Bleach is on par with the action in Naruto, but does not really have the adventure aspect of it. So if you like adventure then you might be a little disappointed. Otherwise, the comedy is relatively on par with Naruto, maybe a little better. Basically, if you want a good all-around anime on par with Naruto Shippuuden then Bleach is the show to watch.

Sinnesfrid

Naruto Shippuuden and Bleach are perfect complementary series. When one is more serious, the other is more fun; and when the other becomes more serious, the other becomes less serious. These two fit together well because of that.

daniel44044

Naruto and Bleach are must-see anime. In both anime the main character has a strong urge and need to improve himself and to become the strongest to protect the people around him.

mydarkseclusion

Both Bleach and Naruto have great action, exciting plots, and intriguing characters that draw you in with almost incredible ease. They easily balance drama and humour, and can go from serious one moment to hilarious the next. While there is much debate as to which is better, I say simply this: watch both! They're similar enough that if you like one you'll certainly like the other, and yet they are still very different in some ways. If you've watched one and liked it, make sure not to miss out on the other one. You may find you like it just as much or more.

freakzilla

Bleach is like Naruto; they are both currently-leading shounen anime. They've both earned their positions and are action-packed series that draw in a lot of beginner anime fans. Battles with superpowers and a small interesting story are things you'll find in both.

strawberryichigoaw14

Both Naruto and Bleach are about people who work together to fight bad guys. Both of the protagonists in the anime make a lot of friends throughout their stories, as well as enemies.

Weeqay

Both Naruto and Bleach share great fights with intriguing, genuine characters and fine animation. In addition to that, both share the same humor and provide enough episodes to ensure your addiction for a long time.

argona

Both Naruto and Bleach have great action, great stories, and many different and interesting characters with unique personalities. You'll find your favorite character for sure! Though there are lots of action scenes, there are also great comedy scenes. You'll often wait in excitement for the next episode! By the way, both anime do contain annoying filler episodes.

diver211

If you like shows with swords, Bleach is something you should watch.  It's similar to Naruto Shippuuden in that a team of five people set out to save a friend from being killed.

raziyll

I would definitely suggest these two animes. They both have amazing action sequences and intense storylines. They also both delve into demons, magic, martial arts, etc. A must see for any Shonen fan.

isdaiga

Both series has good scenario, lots of action and good soundtracks. If you like one, you‘d undoubtedly like the other.

Parax

Both bleach and Naruto Shippuden both have a similarish fight style and they both incorperate the whole idea of the main character having great power. Seeing the story line and basic fighting is the so simular you should find Naruto Shippuden a most enjoyable experience.

Iluvcelina

If you like fighting and scary guys who love to kill you should watch this. After you watch like the first episode you'll be addicted to it.

Drake004

Both characters basically start form the bottom and they both have pasts that eventually come to light, and the seris both progress they have support characters who come to join the figt on occasion and some who are always there part of their team friends and loved ones who help them out and almost trying to improve them selves to be the strongest show everyone their the best they can be, the stories basically span several years and and show how much they care fro their friends and comrades and even their rivals, mostly serious with comedic releif and some very memorable characters

fenixeld

Naruto Shippuden and Bleach are both about people who fight to save and protect the persons wich are importent to them and to do so they most fight lots of strong openents and get get stronger.

saiyamar

Both are popular ongoing anime at the moment and seem to fit well as a watching pair.

Naruto is probably more light-hearted through more of the show than Bleach, but both have entertainment in the forms of fighting, fun and more, that you can't really afford to miss either.

BlaizeAlight

Both containing strong, loud-mouthed, yet likeable lead characters, Bleach and Naruto carry some similar themes, such as the importance of friendship. If you like the action of Naruto, you'll love the intensity of Bleach's battle scenes, and if you like the snippets of humour that Naruto offers, then Bleach is also a excellent choice with a range of comical characters appearing.

One Piece

Long ago the infamous Gol D. Roger was the strongest and most powerful pirate on the seas. As he was about to be executed he revealed that he hid all of his wealth, including the legendary treasure known as One Piece, on an island at the end of the Grand Line - a treacherous and truly unpredictable sea. Monkey D. Luffy is a spirited, energetic and somewhat dim-witted young man with a very big dream: to find One Piece and become the Pirate King! However Luffy is no ordinary boy, as when he was younger he ate one of the Devil's Fruits and gained its power to become a Rubber Man. Now in this grand age of pirates Luffy sets out to gather a crew and sail to the most dangerous sea in the world so that he can fulfill his dream... and maybe even his appetite!

Naruto and One Piece really follow the same plot: there are lots of dramatic fights between people with strange powers. Watch Naruto if you want to see interesting and "hmm that's a fight method I've never seen before" types of fights, and watch One Piece for the overall quality and humor that goes with the fist bashing.

freakzilla

One Piece is another great shounen title. While fighting against the mysterious, Luffy moves forward in hopes of becoming the Pirate King - much like how Naruto aims to be Hokage. It has a bit more humor, the same awesome fights and that adventure you will never forget!

sarwor248

Both One Piece and Naruto Shippuden are about a guy who will do anything to reach his goal in life. Luffy wants to be Pirate King, and Naruto wants to be Hokage. They both have a "never give up" attitude, and inspire everyone around them. Both anime have lots of great action and fights with interesting villians.

Radaghast

It is possible to spend an eternity to argue about what's better - pirates or ninjas - yet most shounen fans enjoy both. One Piece is generally considered more cracky, which is true, but it still gets pretty serious at times, it's just a different kind of seriousness. OP is less about training your hardest, completing missions and dealing with the loss of those close to you, and more about standing up to your ideals and constantly backing them up with costly actions.

Still there is one theme the two anime share to the fullest: friendship, parting with friends and getting the lost friends back. The reasons are considerably different, but the theme is the same.

Naruto and HxH both have action and adventure. This recommendation is for all those adventure buffs out there that also love to see action in each place that the characters travel to. Hunter X Hunter will satisfy every similar aspect you like about Naruto, except one: Naruto revolves around a ninja's world, while Hunter X Hunter revolves around a hunter's world. All I can really say is that if you loved Naruto Shippudden then you will love this show.

freakzilla

Not only is part of HxH's story comparable to Naruto Shippuuden, it also has plenty of other similarities. Both have tons of humor, action, and adventure; this separates them from other shounen titles, as they have a story that runs a bit deeper than usual.

Weeqay

This recommendation is based on a gut feeling. Both Naruto and HxH are hilarious, but also have some serious episodes. Above all, both share incredibly exciting fights. Besides that, both main characters are performed by the same voice actor.

Dragon Ball Z

Dragon Ball Z main image

Five years have passed since Goku and his friends defeated Piccolo Jr. and restored peace to the planet. Gohan - Goku's son - and a variety of good, bad, and morally ambiguous characters are back, and perpetually not ready for action! Aliens, androids, and magicians all hatch evil plots to destroy the world and it's up to Goku to save the Earth once more - that is, once he and his comrades train plentifully in preparation.  Enemies will become friends and power levels will rise to unimaginable levels, but even with the help of the legendary Dragon Balls and Shen Long will it be enough to save Earth from ultimate destruction?

Both Dragon Ball Z and Naruto Shippuuden are based on training, fighting, and showing the results of the fights. The enemies are from different worlds, and as the main characters grow stronger, friends become enemies and enemies become friends. If you liked one try the other.

codecx

It is series like these that end up being great 'gateway drug' for newcomers and anime junkies alike.

If you like episodic fights that keep you captivated and a lot of "cliff-hanger" episode endings that leave you wanting 'more'. This series is for you.

Radaghast

If the fights with Akatsuki members are not epic enough, try Dragon Ball Z. This anime is much more oldschool shounen (which makes sense, given its age), but it shouldn't turn you off since you liked Naruto.

This recommendation is even more compelling if you don't mind the slow pace of Naruto Shippuden - some combat scenes in DBZ are overextended as well.

Basilisk

Basilisk main image

Oboro, a naive, love-struck girl, is pledged to Gennosuke, an idealist. Both are successors to opposing ninja clans with a long history of hatred kept barely in check by a covenant of peace. Just as the two vow to reconcile the clans with their marriage, the shogun orders the feud to resume in order to resolve an internal struggle that threatens to tear the Tokugawa shogunate apart. Even worse, Oboro and Gennosuke themselves are forced to lead their clans in battle. Can the star-crossed lovers resist the brutal circumstances and remain true to their love as the death toll rises?

Entrility

Basilisk is basically a pumped up version of Naruto. Although the plot is not the same, the type of world is. Basilisk centers on the two ninja tribes trying to kill each other off, whereas Naruto is about the main character trying to find his brotherlike friend

The best thing about Basilisk is that it exceeds Naruto in subtle areas. For example, the technique names are not shouted out as they occur, and dialogue doesn't take up much of each episode.

LecturerOnizuka

From the very start you will notice the darker nature of these two series and the idea that fighting and battle tactics come to the fore in both. If you like Ninja series with ninjas who need to hone their skills, this is for you.

MalteseFalcon

If Naruto is a kid ninja series, and Naruto Shippuden a teen, then Basilisk is definately the mature adult. Taking the same premise - ninjas from different clans fighting with abilities beyond the scope of normal people for dominance - and cranking up the mature themes, Basilisk is definately not a series for kids. However, if you are looking for something more adult, with a dark and gritty feel, you should try watching Basilisk.
