It's a strange recommendation, I realize, but in my opinion Nana and Chobits have kind of the same humor and are both very dramatic. While Chobits isn't as in depth as Nana, I'm sure you'll enjoy both of them anyways!
Summer break is now over; the second semester has started for Tomoya, Nagisa and the others, and little has changed. why clannad AF & nana u ask. well, the reason is very simple.though the plot do not match but u got down to earth story in both the series, prodigious and overwhelming charecters and cool sound track.the most crucial part shared by these 2 series are darma. both the series have Xtream topnotch drama.so if u got drama as ur fav genre then these 2 should top ur list.

Maya loves the theatre more than anything, and as there's not much she can do about it at home, she chooses to run away with Tsukikage. In face of the adversity, Maya must constantly fight to develop her skills to catch up with her unbelievably talented rival, Ayumi, if she hopes to inherit Tsukikage's legendary role: The Crimson Goddess.
Both Nana and GlassMask are very similar as the main character is trying to fullfill their dream having support of close friends. While nana is more focused on friendship ( between nana and nana :P) Glass mask is more focused on rivalry and passion to archeive best actress

Both Nana and Gokinjo Monogatari revolve around the arts/music/fashon scence and romance. The romance is pretty heavy in both animes as well as the strong female protagonists. The supporting chracters are amazing and really add depth to the plot. Gokinjo is more light hearted than Nana, but it still has great drama and wonderful friendships. If you liked Paradise Kiss you will definately enjoy Gokinjo and Nana.
The only dissapointing about both animes is that they are not long enough.
