both main characters are dragged into a dangerous world they don't know, while nabari no ou is about ninjas and MF about evil spirits they both share the friendship beetween the characters and how they protect each other. In both animes there are also two sides, the "good guys" and the "bad guys", and they are constantly fighting each other. Great action, humor and drama, you'll pretty sure like one if you liked the other.

homakp

there are a lot of similarities, in case of characters and story line.

the difference is i think MF characters and design are a bit stronger, specially for Shirogane.but then Yoite also has a complicatet-strong character.

if you liked MF, i'm 80% sure that you'll like NNO, but if you liked NNO, i'm 99% sure that you'll like MF!

finally, both have something in common: a really magnificent ending (in my opinion) which made me forget the whole series and watch the last episode again and again^^

Pandora Hearts

Pandora Hearts

On the eve of nobleman Oz Bezarius's fifteenth birthday, he and his loved ones gather to celebrate in a coming-of-age ceremony. But after Oz steps under a long-stopped clock and the hands finally move once more - thus fulfilling a mysterious prophecy - he is violently thrown into the legendary prison known as the Abyss by three cloaked intruders. Existing in another dimension, the Abyss is home to lifeforms born within its walls known as Chains; these beings can only live in the real world if they make contracts with humans, binding their power to the person's body. However, there's a catch - in time, the human will be overcome by the Chain's power and then thrown into the deepest level of the Abyss. When Oz wakes up in the Abyss he is quickly attacked by hungry Chains, only to be saved by one named Alice - a Chain who appeared just before he was thrown into the prison. Together, the two make a contract and return to the real world, where they are enlisted into the Pandora organization - a group researching both the Abyss and the trio that threw Oz into it.  Along with members of Pandora, the duo searches to find Alice's lost memory fragments that are scattered throughout the world, to discover the secrets of the Abyss, and to determine if there's a way their contract can be broken without killing either Oz or Alice.

Both series feature a boy who has to deal with a hidden power. He winds up surrounded by people with incredible powers as he tries to discover his true self. Many of the characters in both anime are dealing with their past, and friendships are important themes in both anime as well. The tone in similar in both, so if you enjoyed one, you might like the other.

I Think You would love watching this! Both anime have the male protagonist fighting an unkown force, and being thrown into a world that he had no idea existed. The world seems twisted and unfair yet it lies peacefully co-existing with the peacfull world he once knew.

Although the settings are very different (Nabari no Ou is about ninjas in contemporary society, 07-Ghost is Church vs Empire) these animes gave me the same feeling.

The main characters both don't remember their past and have a hidden power that other people want. The theme of friendship (nearly shounen-ai) is very strong too.

Angel Sanctuary

Angel Sanctuary

Setsuno Muda is a high school boy with a cruel fate, trapped in a forbidden love for his blood sister and inhabited by the spirit of the Organic Angel Alexiel. As the final battle between Heaven and Hell approaches, and forces gather against him, he must soon make decisions that will inevitably alter his future for better or worse. But for poor young Setsuno, his anguish and torment might be more overwhelming than the blood on his hands, as conflicts are settled and lives are changed forever...

D.N.Angel

D.N.Angel

For Niwa Daisuke, turning 14 should be accompanied by romance and the promise of new adventures into adulthood, but instead comes with a surprising revelation: all male children of the Niwa's bloodline inherit the powers (alter ego) of Dark, a phantom thief, upon their 14th birthday! Now, in addition to his ever-present quest to win the heart of his childhood friend Risa, Daisuke must commit acts of thievery (with his doppelganger Dark controlling his body), to steal mysterious pieces of art for unknown purposes. Both series are about boys who are unexpectedly told that they are people of great importance. They suddenly have to change all their life and start being some kind of 'star'. If you liked one you'll like another for sure.
