Miki is a psychotic mascot, waitress and delivery girl who works at her equally as frightening mother's ramen shop. Both survivor and instigator of years of ruthless, no-holds-barred domestic violence, Miki has a capacity for destruction usually found only in people with things like "the Impaler" added to their name. Yet, she also has a kind side to her and is often found going implausible distances out of her way to rescue both proverbial and literal lost kittens, though some malignant souls might misconstrue this as merely ditching her work...
Meet the Minami sisters, three girls living on their own and doing their best to make it through life's little snags and adventures. Kana, the middle sister, has far more energy than common sense; Chiaki, the youngest, is more reserved, but her sharp tongue and devious mind often cause trouble for others; and Haruka, the eldest, acts like a mother to the other two, is beautiful and kind, but has a fearsome stern streak. Together, no obstacle can stand in their way, be it school, romance, or even cooking.
When at first you're watching the anime it seems normal. Then suddenly the faces on the girls change to a seriousness so randomly it's hilarious. The random things they do and say just hook you.
Taishou is the dedicated owner and chef of a small ramen shop in Tokyo – and he's also… a cat?! Though enthusiastic to run the best possible eatery, the feline's cooking skills leave much to be desired – a fact that Tanaka-san, Taishou's most frequent customer, experiences on a regular basis. With part time helpers such as a kleptomaniac bum, and schemes to bring in business such as serving a restaurant critic gourmet food instead of the usual swill, Taishou's ramen shop is never a dull place to patronize or work at!
Both shows immediately reminded me of each other. Asides the fact that they mainly deal with ramen, both involve spontaneous actions and hilarious scenes! If you liked one, the other is a definite "want to watch."
Both involve girls fighting over ramen in some way or another. Noodle Fighter Miki is a million times better than Pretty Menma because it actually makes sense but both will probably make you laugh. Check one out if you liked the other
As the mighty star fleet of the planet Keron prepare their invasion of Earth, Sergeant Keroro and his elite team of commandos have been sent to infiltrate the enemy strongholds and gather as much intelligence as possible. However, it seems even his extensive military training is no match for the forces of Earth, as he is discovered and captured by the two middle school siblings, Fuyuki and Natsumi. Submitted to the rigorous torture of housework duty, the amphibious Keroro must now bide his time, covertly locate his squad-mates, and resume his mission of conquest!
Both Muteki Kanban Musume and Sergeant Frog are split into 2 parts per episode. If you like the spontaneous action from Sergeant Frog, then you'll like Muteki Kanban Musume and vice versa. They are bound to keep you laughing from the crazy things they do.
Incensed at the damage done to the sea and its wildlife at the the hands of humanity, Squid Girl rises from the depths of the ocean to enslave humanity! Her mission proves more difficult than it first seems, however, when she gets dragooned into working at the Aizawa beach restaurant. Will the easily distracted, blissfully ignorant, and slightly thick Ika-Musume convert her managers' humble house into her base? Will she use the power of her mighty tentacles to bring all of humanity to heel? Or will she at least learn how to properly wait tables?
Both anime feature multiple random comedic short stories in each episode. While Ika Musume threatens world domination, she's pretty much held in check by Chizuru, whereas Miki's mother can only keep her in line through the occasional violent beating. The heroine's in both shows are lacking in the brilliance department. While Miki has more of a penchant for violence, Ika Musume has more of a naivety from having lived in the ocean her whole life. Both humorous shows, but while Ika Musume has more endearing characters Muteki Kanban Musume is a straight up gag anime.
