Miki is a psychotic mascot, waitress and delivery girl who works at her equally as frightening mother's ramen shop. Both survivor and instigator of years of ruthless, no-holds-barred domestic violence, Miki has a capacity for destruction usually found only in people with things like "the Impaler" added to their name. Yet, she also has a kind side to her and is often found going implausible distances out of her way to rescue both proverbial and literal lost kittens, though some malignant souls might misconstrue this as merely ditching her work...
In Gintoki's Japan, the arrival of the various space races known collectively as the Amanto ended the era of the samurai. The Amanto's highly advanced technology resulted in total conquest and a severe economic shift. Now, former samurai such as Gintoki scrape together whatever livelihood they can. Gintoki's profession of choice is that of a yorozuya: he'll complete any job for money. However, he’s unmotivated; and spending most of the day on the couch with the latest issue of Jump and a carton of Strawberry Milk is his preferred pastime. It turns out that his new unpaid employees, Shinpachi and Kagura, are going to interfere with his pastime even more than with his "work"! Of course, none of this means he has really given up on his samurai ideologies!
Spoofs of lots of different anime and stupid faces. A lot of funny random outburst. It's a great find for any Jump fans.
Both Muteki Kanban Musume and Gintama are pure comedies based on nothing but if you don't really mind the plot they're both so funny you wish it's never gonna end!!!
If you liked one make sure to give the other a go!!!!!

Together with her mascot Paya-tan, Punie will make new friends and take down new foes with style!
These two anime have the same sense of humor. Two cute girls that suddenly become extremely violent. They both made me laugh so hard my stomach started to hurt in every episode. You just can't resist the random violence.
When Futaba Yoshinaga won a gargoyle statue from a lottery, she had no idea that the inanimate object was actually a sentient talking being! Named simply Gargoyle (or Gar-kun), the statue decided to protect not only the Yoshinaga family, but the entire town of Goshiko. With a variety of characters trying to prove their superiority over Gar-kun and the wacky inventions of his crazy creator, Iyo Takahara, at every turn, it seems that life for the Yoshinaga family will never be the same again!
Both of these animes are comedies centered around life in a small town. They are funny and sarcastic and although one is slice of life and the other is fantasy, their humour is so similar that if you liked one, you will like the other.
When Hayate was young, Santa appeared in a dream and told him that if he worked hard, he’d be rewarded. Thus, with an unbreakable will, the unfortunate Hayate has struggled through life holding onto that belief. In the present, his parents are lazy and unemployed, forcing Hayate to work several jobs to pay the bills. As if things couldn’t get worse, Hayate’s parents then run away, leaving him with an enormous debt and loan sharks on his tail! Naturally, the best solution to find money fast is… to kidnap someone?! A girl named Nagi is the target, but due to an unfortunate miscommunication, she believes Hayate has proposed to her and falls for him hard. After Nagi paid off his debt, Hayate must now work as her butler in order to repay her; but first, he must adapt to her wacky world!
I personally believe that if you like one of these you will like the other. Both of these anime have characters that have super ultra mega strengths and abilities that usually is only slotted for Dark Lords or Ninjas. But not in these anime, oh no, these powerful people are a Ramen Waitress (Miki) and a Butler (Hayate). Makes sense right? Also, the humor is side splitting amusing and random and very slapstick in both of these anime. If you like slapstick humor and random fun and people that have abilities that they should have, then either of these are for you!
