Dr Kenzo Tenma is a genius surgeon working in post-Cold War Germany who has a bright future ahead of him. If you have any knowledge of Enlightenment thinking you will absolutely love Ergo proxy. Both it and monster reveal philisophical truths of human nature. Ergo Proxy is an anime revolving around a post apocolyptic world where a "1984" like society controls every action of the people within it. If you are familar with the works of Orwell and Enlightenment thinkers such as locke and rousseau, you will love this anime.
