Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu

Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu

Fumizuki Academy is divided into classes ranked based purely on ability; Class A has laptops, reclining seats and ultimate comfort whereas Class F has to settle for a rundown classroom with rotten cushions and rickety coffee tables. Akihisa Yoshii has recently taken the placement exam and finds himself relegated to the lowly Class F along with many of his friends, and they’re far from impressed with their draughty facilities. Luckily, not all is lost as at Fumizuki, classes can declare war on each other to swap rooms by fighting with summoned characters whose strength is based on the users' test scores. As they dream of escaping their decrepit circumstances, the ‘idiotic’ students of Class F will try whatever they can to reach the dizzy heights of Class A’s luxury, even if it means taking on the entire school in an all-out summoning war!

MM! and BakaTest are two weird series with similar art, similar characters and same feelings. MM! is bit more mature, but they're both high school comedies / romances. losers are included. and one more word to describe: *facepalm*

eaper

Each of these series are mainly comedies with a bit of romance thrown in. Each series also occurs in a highschool.

xxSilencexx

Both are set in a school setting with really unique characters, at times the viewer may question why they're are watching them, but however these concerns are buried with absolutely epic episodes, both are really good... However MM! is a bit more mature...

KittyEmperor

Probably the biggest similarity and biggest part of each series is the comedy with a touch of romance thrown in and they both deal in things of the preverted nature and use these things to fairly good success.  Either series is good to get more than enough laughs out of anyone watching it.

scizorg45

If you liked the different type of characters in one of the series you can probably appreciate what the other series did. They're all very unique. MM has a lot more mature jokes.

if you liked one, check out the other.

ItsumoHitori

MM! and Baka to Test are two humour-based shows(with some romance included)that take place in interesting high schools and both include an extremely colourful cast of characters. If one of these shows had dying of laughter at points, make sure to check the other one out.

Thrawn

If there is one thing these two have in common, it's that they both pack on the physical abuse on the main male protagonists. But played for laughs of course, which is what these two school-life anime are all about. Baka to Test is the more ridiculous of the two, but they're great if you're in the mood for some slapstick and hilarious dialogue.

These series both focus on a highschool club that is dedicated to helping fufill requests. A main character in each series both have a similar condition. Finally, each of the main females are rather tsundere.

bonbon2190

Both shows are about a club/group of students who helps other people with special requests. The main female characters in both anime have similar personalities, violent but actually hiding a soft side.  Also, they both have a male character who likes to cross-dress. Both animes are action-packed and have sweet moments.

KittyEmperor

A highschool club who's main goal is to fulfill the requests of other people.  Though Ookami-san will get different requests throughout the series and MM! mainly focuses on trying to cure Tarou's masochism.  A female tsundere is also a big highlight for either series and the romance for each series adds a little something to each series.

scizorg45

A Tsundere, A crossdresser, a club which tries to solves everyones problems. Those are the main similaritie between the sseries. Ookami san really tries to help their clients, while MM just tries to contain one guy's problem.

if you liked one, you might like the other.

sobeit

Both of these animes have a central male protagonist which needs help solving their social problems. MM! is based around comedy whereas Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakama-tachi has more of a romantic feel to it, though both involve some romance as the tags suggest.

zetazach

Both Ookami and MM! are about a club dedicated to helping people with their problems with some minor differences. In Ookami, the club helps out people for a price and the male protagonist is extremely shy. while in MM! they help people with more personal problems with crude humor and the male protagonist is a masochist.

SargeKeroro

They are both club related anime that focuses around the problems of other but still have more to it than that. The romance is a little stronger in ookamisan but it's not strong in either of them. They are both hilarious and enjoyable while MM! Hacar ore of an adult humor and ookamisan is more of an action anime I'm sure if you liked you one you'll enjoy the other

There series are both harems with several stereotypes working together in some sort of high-school club. Each series is both focuses on sexual humor.

KittyEmperor

The sexual humor is probably the biggest draw to either series.  While probably the biggest difference between either series is the male lead who in Seitokai is really rather normal and in MM! he's has a severe case of masochism.  But there are plently of things to look forward to in either series and are likely to bring a couple of smiles to anyone watching either series.

scizorg45

Overperverted schoolclub. Enough said. Since it probably won't come through the screening like that: one has a council where every 30 seconds at least one sex joke is made, while the other has a club where at least every 30 secs an action to "stir" someone is made.

if you liked one, you'll probably like the other.

Greenleaves666

Both anime are to a certain limit very perverted, without it crossing any real morals since they are both serious (pun it itself) slapstick anime!

Seitokai makes more verbal jokes, where MM! covers most of the jokes in a physical manner, still both great shows if you have an adult kind of humor and like jokes going 18+!

sysmibmip

Slapstick comedy. Strange personalities. Sexual humor. You know you shouldn't be laughing but you do anyway. All this in a slice of life setting where the characters are in thier own little group at school. If you liked one of MM! or Seitokai Yakuindomo check out the other, you won't be disappointed.

ashman711

both series are quasi-harem types filled with female characters who either physically or figuratively abuse the main protagonist. the only difference is that in Seitokai the main male Protagonist is just a regular guy whereas in MM! the male protagonist is a well meaning pervert.

StayUpThere

I found both of these anime very funny and the humor is very similar. By similar I mean the excessive use of dirty jokes.

Toradora!

Toradora!

Ryuuji Takasu has an eventful life: his classmates think he's a delinquent due to his 'killer' eyes; his crush Minori seems ever out of reach; and he’s just had an unfortunate encounter with 'palm-sized Taiga' – a feisty and dainty wench in his class. With different cleaning habits and tempers, the two clash like night and day; that is, except for the fact that Taiga and Ryuuji have crushes on the other's good friend! With school rumors abounding, the duo must now work together to play matchmaker for each other. Who will end up with their true love?

If you are looking for tsundere female leads, then these series both match up well. Bother series have a bit of romance and comedy (although Toradora probably has more romance than MM! and MM! is a lot more ecchi/perverted humor). Finally, both occur during the character's highschool life.

Seth2441

It is similar and pretty funny. You have a mean girl and a guy who has the talents of a housewife both try to help each other in love and at school while slowy they come to realized they fell in love afterwards.

KittyEmperor

With both series being something of a romantic comedy though the romance in Toradora is a much more central role to the series.  With school being the main setting for both stories as well as eaching featuring a leading female tsundere if you enjoyed one then you'll probably enjoy the other.

scizorg45

If you like small tsundere girls, both series will suit you just fine! MM is more for the perverts out there and Toradora actually contains a good story.

if you liked one, check out the other.

AnimeFreak127

Both of them feature strange cute girls and troubled men, romantic scenes and happy memories. If you enjoy one you'll definetly enjoy the other. ^^

Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai

Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai

Kodaka is a delinquent. At least, that’s what his fellow classmates seem to think. Thanks to his naturally-blonde hair and an unfortunate series of misunderstandings, the boy can’t seem to shake his false reputation and hasn’t made a single friend. That is, until one day he overhears the normally-aloof Yozora enthusiastically chatting with an imaginary friend, and discovers that she’s just as lonely as he is! In an attempt to finally meet people the duo decides to form the “Neighbors Club”, and are soon joined by a number of other fellow misfits such as Sena, the busty, popular daughter of the school president who can’t seem to connect with others. Together, the gang learns about the joys of friendship through many misadventures such as playing RPGs, visiting the swimming pool or even hunting down delicious takoyaki!

Both center around an interesting group with hilarious individuals. MM!! is more extreme, but if you enjoyed the fun atmosphere of one you will surely enjoy the other

huyhn

If you liked Boku wa Tomodachi Sukanai ,then you'll like MM!, because both are centered around a male character along with 2 main heroines in a club to help them with their problems. Their motive is to fit into society, but they somewhat forget their main objective and enjoy doing day-to-day club activities. The male protaganist in both animes end up center of a love triangle and is unaware of their feelings, but MM! is more open about the feelings than Boku wa Tomodachi Sukanai.

snivets

I think these two shows have a similar sense of irony. In Haganai, they make a club to make friends...and make friends. In MM, the, ah, helpful female lead tries to beat the masochism out of the main male lead...ironic much? If you enjoy meta humor in otherwise stereotypical shows, here you will find it.

bonbon2190

Both Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukanau and MM! share the same concept of a band of misfits gathering together in a club. There friendship is created and love starts to bud. Both anime has a male character surrounded by quirky and unique girls. It involves a lot of comedy and pervy scenes. If you don't mind some nudity and sexual innuendo then you'll find this comedy hilarious!
