Synopsis:

Yuki is a disaffected middle school boy who has no dreams or goals in life; in fact, the only thing he has is his diary. Writing down everything he observes and documenting every thought, the young boy uses it as an outlet for his imagination. One morning, however, Yuki wakes up to find his cell phone filled with diary entries for the next ninety days. Thinking nothing of it, he continues his morning until he begins to realize that everything on his phone is rapidly coming to pass, and it isn't just mere coincidence. Now, Yuki suddenly finds himself thrust into a survival game against other future diary owners to become the new Lord of Time.

Both are dark animes where several players fight a game to either become a god or have their wish fullfilled. Although fate/zero is more supernatural, it has the same feel to it. If you like the temporary alliances/betrayal/bets and psychological warfare in either of the series, you'll like the other.

MaraRuizu

Fate/Zero and Mirai Nikki share the premise of a survival game where the winner gains an incredibly large price. Both series explore the possibilities of temporary alliances with people you might end up having to kill.

While Fate/Zero rely more heavily on supernatural elements, Mirai Nikki also includes a mixture of supernatural and natural fighting styles.

All in all the two are similarly dark and share many plot elements. As such, if you liked one of them, you should give the other one a chance.

Neon Genesis Evangelion

Neon Genesis Evangelion

In the future, a devastating event known as Second Impact has destroyed Tokyo as we know it, giving rise to Tokyo III - a city under siege by mysterious lifeforms known only as Angels. Mankind's only line of defense are the Evangelions, a set man-made machines piloted by a trio of fourteen year-old teenagers, Rei, Shinji, and Asuka. The fate of Japan and the entire world now lie with these three children, though they might not have the power to save the most important thing of all: each other.

The Main Characters in both series are exactly the same. The Only Difference is that in Mirai Nikki TV the Main Character is stuck in a Battle royal with psychologically insane people and in Neon Genesis Evangelion the Main Character is Forced to fight Beings of Immense Power surrounded by Psychologically insane people. Both are the same except for the setting.

Steins;Gate

Steins;Gate

The eccentric mad scientist Okabe, his childhood friend Mayuri, and the otaku hacker Daru have banded together to form the Future Gadget Research Laboratory, and spend their days in a ramshackle laboratory hanging out and occasionally attempting to invent incredible futuristic gadgets. However, their claymore is a hydrator and their hair dryer flips breakers, and the only invention that’s even remotely interesting is their Phone Microwave, which transforms bananas into oozing green gel. But when an experiment goes awry the gang discovers that the Phone Microwave can also send text messages to the past. And what's more, the words they send can affect the flow of time and have unforeseen, far-reaching consequences - consequences that Okabe may not be able to handle...

The Future Diary and Steins;Gate are both anime that will leave you on the edge of your seat wondering what's going to happen next.

Both deal with the idea of how your actions in the present will effect your future, with Future Diary having an instant result.

Both have unexpected turns and shocking twist.

And both have endings that will leave you satisfied.

So if you like one, you'll surely like the other.

KenichiSora

These two animes both had an aspect of going being able to mess with thime via cell phone, and both series have the main charactor use it for personal gain until they realise the consequences for thier actions, both shows are very interesting and if ou like one, you probably will like the other, Mirai Nikki just has epic Yandere, take it or leave it

The Severing Crime Edge

Crime Edge and Mirai Nikki both revolve around a deadly survival game with unusual weapons. In Crime Edge, participants use possessed items known as "Killing Goods". In Mirai Nikki, they use cell phones that can predict the future in ways unique to the user. Crime Edge comes off as a bit silly at times compared to Mirai Nikki, but if you enjoy unorthodox games, survival, and a little bit of gore, and you liked one, you should give the other a try.

i strongly agree because its a high stakes game were every single person in it has a diary and there trying to survive until there last one alive so they them selfs can take the place of god

Practically everything there is to like about Mirai Nikki can be found in 11 eyes as well. Mirai Nikki is probably the better show because there are more episodes which make for a deeper storyline. If you liked either one, you'll definitely like the other.
