Both Star of Cottonland and Minky Momo Bridge of Dreams surface as simple girly-looking movies that don't have much going for them; that would be right to some extent, but the two titles give a powerful message in the end. The events that occur in Cottonland and Minky Momo are not complicated, little drama occurs, and both possess a mystical feel. Things are very laid back. They are something to watch and reflect on.
