Comedy is the major factor in this series as well as it being a copstory, though there are some differences. The art for one differ and the humor in Miami Guns is quite a bit more silly than the humor in You're Under Arrest. Miami Guns also has some parody in it, this also means that You're Under Arrest is somewhat closer to realism.

The You're Under Arrest! series features a significantly more realistic portrayl of a police station, its officers, and their interaction with each other and the community. The series focuses on the policework of two female police officers who make fairly dynamic partners. The comedic episodes are actually funny, the serious episodes are actually dramatic, the action is actually fairly compelling, and there is continunity between episodes.

Regardless of whether you're looking to watch another police officer anime or just want to watch a good anime, consider watching You're Under Arrest!

This will possibly be a somewhat odd recommendation regarding the theme. The main reason for recommening this one is the odd and silly humor, as well as the "fight for justice" theme. (Even though this "justice" differ quite a bit in both series)

Dirty Pair

Dirty Pair

The WWWA, or 3WA as it is affectionately known, is dedicated to one thing: The prosperity and well being of all the peoples of the Galactic League. The Dirty Pair are Kei and Yuri, the 3WA's top crime division female operatives with a 100% clean-up rate. The problem lies in the extreme collateral damage they cause to people and property in the single minded pursuit of their duty; including, if absolutely necessary, the wholesale destruction of cities, continents and even planets! No-one is safe, whether it be criminals, rogue robots, crazed computers and more likely, innocent bystanders!

Dirty Pair and Miami Guns features a dysfunctional partnership, outlandish problems to solve, and plenty of destruction. Our dynamic duo is just as likely to have an argument in the middle of a case as they are to work together. If you enjoyed one of these, I would suggest giving the other a try.

Odd and silly humor both prevail in both series. Another similarity is that both series are both "fight for justice" seires, although in Miami Guns somewhat more than in Galaxy Angel. A few major differences are the spacefights and mecha.

Geobreeders

Geobreeders

Life's never boring in Kagura Total Security, especially not for Taba Yoichi; he's surrounded by an office full of trigger-happy, ass-kicking beauties! Specializing in the eradication of Phantom Cats, the team uses any means possible to trap these data-phantoms before they can take over important pieces of technology. However, when Kagura Total Security has one of its own kidnapped, it's up to gun-toting Umezaki, speed-driving Himehagi and fist-flinging Randou to bring her back!

Girls, guns, explosions, mayhem, destruction, accidental comedy, Geobreeders and Miami Guns has plenty of both. Light hearted action romps at heart, if you enjoyed one of these series, you should try out the other.
