Ginga is a passionate Blader who travels from place to place, searching for strong rivals so that he can become the best. His journey leads him to a new town where he saves Kenta, a young, would-be Blader, from the hands of the nefarious Face Hunter gang - a group that forces weaklings to battle to forcefully steal their points. Alongside newfound friend Kenta, a Beyblade repair store's daughter Madoka, enemies-turned-friends and more, Ginga will battle fierce rivals, challenging opponents and even the one who caused great tragedy in his past - all on his way to becoming the best Blader of all!
The future of Duel Monsters has finally arrived! With it has come a new form of dueling known as "Riding Duels," which many duelists are eager to take up and learn. One such player is Yusei Fudo, an aspiring rider duelist who lives in the slum area known as Satellite; he has been wronged by the system and is on a mission to defeat his archrival: Jack Atlus, the Absolute King of the Riding Duel. With Jack having wronged him in his past, Yusei chooses to exact his revenge by taking his title; but, with a strange, unfamiliar set of rules and many foes ahead, will he ever reach Neo-Domino City and claim his prize?
Both series are the latest season of their extra popular ancestors such as Yu-Gi-Oh! and Bakuten Shoot Beyblade. Involving new characters into new plots which have the old and familiar exitement and story, and of course, the game which involves humans battleing each other with monsters being summoned from special magical items over power or just trying to protect the world. A classical shonen action anime with new characters and new chalenges that are meant to be solved the old way, a marvolous adventure and friends that stick together untill the very end, this all is sure to bring you the experience we're all so familiar with. At the island-based Duel Academy, young potential duelists gain the skills they need to become a top notch duelist. The students are divided into three classes named after the three Egyptian god cards: the top ranked Obelisk Blue, average Ra Yellow, and beginner Slifer Red. Jaden Yuki is currently a student at the academy, and is a huge fan of the famous Yugi Mutou. Though Jaden must start off slowly in the Slifer Red class, his goal is impressive: to become the next King of Games! Together with Syrus, Chumley, and Bastion, their dueling matches will draw them into the shadow realm, and into trouble. Jaden and the gang must do the only thing possible: get their game on!
YGO GX and MFB are two shounen titles involving characters that battle each other with items (cards or tops) to become stronger. These types of series aren't terribly mentally challenging and tend to follow the same format, so if you liked one the other will be very familiar.
