Synopsis:

It was snowing that night: the night that Inami Ken's life changed for the better, the night that a shy girl named Hotaru confessed her love. Memories Off 2nd and Kanon have several things in common. Not only do they share a similar feel and pacing, but they both deal with the issue of the dreaded love triangle. Granted, Kanon is far more "cute", but I still really think you'd enjoy one if you liked the other, if only for the same kind of feeling you'll get from watching.

For a MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH better look at love triangles and harrowing emotions, you must check out Kimi ga Nozomu Eien. You'll actually care about the characters, there are serious emotions, realistic relationships, the whole 9 yards. Highly recommended.

If you liked either of these for the romantic element (and SPECIFICALLY liked this type), then you'll like Memories Off 2nd, or With You, respectively. Beautiful animation is in both, as well as the same kind of romantic triangle.

Memories Off 2nd and True Love Story are good recommendations for each other because of many things, including the love triangle plot, to the interesting yet bizarre animation, to the mood and feel. If you liked one, you'd probably like the other.
