While Madlax focuses on the results of war, Meine Liebe focuses on the prevention of war. Both are set in imaginary countries, with action, suspense, and of course, spies. If you like one, you are bound to like the other - not to mention they have similar art, so if you liked the art of one, you'll probably enjoy the other!

Both Meine Leibe and Le Chevalier D'Eon have a similar mood and overall theme, with a lot about patriotism and such. On top of this, the character design isn't dissimilar from what I recall.

Both Meine Liebe and Maria-sama ga Miteru focus on an almost single gender cast (boys in Meine Liebe and girls in Maria-sama ga Miteru) attending a private academy, and the (supposedly, in some cases) prim and proper students that attend it. Meine Liebe focuses more on politics and dueling than Maria-sama ga Miteru, but both still have the ranking and social status pretenses in them. Both also use foreign language and concepts in them (German and French, respectively), and have hints at shoujo or shounen-ai at times. Both are very character driven, dramatic series - if you liked one, be sure to check out the other.

It is difficult to pin down exactly what makes Weiss Kreuz and Meine Liebe so similar since one deals with hitmen in the modern world while the other takes place in a academy in a vaguely historical setting but they share a certain atmosphere. The almost all male ensemble that has to interact and cooperate in close quarters as well as the contrasting personalities add an air of drama, the characters' backgrounds that are brought to weight on the narrative and the overall feeling make these titles reminiscent of each other. Those who were able to turn a blind eye to the flaws of one are likely to enjoy the other.

Saiunkoku Monogatari

Saiunkoku Monogatari

What she doesn’t count on, however, is being asked to become a concubine to the recluse Emperor and help him transform into a better leader. What’s more, the Emperor shows little intelligence, seems to have no interest in ruling, and is rumored to prefer men. One thing’s for certain: Shuurei has her work cut out for her!

Both series have a fantasy-historical setting.  While both feature a large cast of handsome male characters, they don't get overly caught up in fanservice and the like, instead opting for a serious approach.  Saiunkoku focuses more on romance and a female character, while Meine Liebe is more about the male characters, their friendships, and politics.
