Synopsis:

As a child, Inaho always loved listening to stories of her grandmother's immortality -- gained from a strange device known as the O-part. As a young adult, Inaho is finally ready to fulfill her dream: to find the O-part and gain immortality, just like her grandmother! But where can the O-part be found? Fortunately for Inaho, she has made a blood-pact with Mosquiton, a 1/4th vampire with a knack for servitude, and a nose for trouble. Joined by Mosquiton's ex-wife and two cohorts, the search for the O-part begins! That is, if the world isn't destroyed first...

Mosquiton is really Hellsing Lite. Both Inaho and Integra made deals with a vampire for service, and it's the defining moment of their lives as far as the shows are concerned. Where the two differ is that while Hellsing goes for over the top action and non-plausible superpowers, Mosquiton goes for pure camp and laughs with how it plays out.

Although Yougen Kaisha and Master of Mosquiton do have different stories behind them, they both have a truly funny, campy feel that happens to be related to the undead. I truly think if you liked one, you'd like the other.

Not solely recommended to watch because they hold the same name. But it's similar in plot as well. Though MoM99 is divided over 26 episodes, while MoM (OVA) has been cropped up into 6 episodes. Note: The OVA has some nudity.

While on the surface, both series seem to be about vampires, that is not why I have chosen this series. Both vampiric protagonists seem to display rather unusual traits for bloodsuckers, particularly when dealing with their human "servants".
