Gentle Himeko and reserved Chikane were born into very different backgrounds, but still became the best of friends. Their fates, they would soon come to discover, are intertwined in a fashion that they can't possibly imagine -- they are the reincarnations of two priestesses who once sealed the god of darkness Orochi in their past lives. Set to revive again, his giant robot-riding agents have set out to destroy the girls, one of whom is Himeko's friend who is in love with her. Riddled with memories of their past lives, the two try to survive long enough to cast the seal on Orochi again...
there both great shoujo-ai stories and have almost the same drawning style wich is particulair , though the storylines are very different , it has a similair feeling
Both Kannazuki no Miko and Marimite feature shoujo-ai aspects, and a similar animation style and directing. The difference is that the story line/plot of this two animes is very different, while KnM focuses on a mecha battles and has fantasy aspects, Marimite focuses on the everyday life of the main female protagonists an their interactions. Also both of them feature a very dramatic romance aspect so my guess is that if you like one be sure to check the other one as well.
Its the same basis, human relationships. I enjoyed both adn have watch them a bunch of times, both still in my harddrive.
On Astraea Hill stand 3 prestigious female-only academies known as St. Miatre, Spica, and LeRim; and though the schools are separate, they share a single campus and dormitory. Nagisa Aoi is a 10th grader who has decided to transfer to St. Miatre's Girls' Academy. Though her transition has been smooth so far, while exploring the campus Aoi inadvertently falls down a hill, sees the beautiful Shimuza, and promptly (not to mention embarrassingly) faints. Nagisa continues to see Shimuza out and about, but soon discovers that she is the "Etoile" -- a well respected girl within all of the schools. With Shizuma taking a liking to the new transfer student Nagisa, secrets of Shizuma's past will unravel over the coming school year.
both Marimite 3rd and Strawberry Panic feature similar shoujo-ai aspects (while Marimite focuses more on senpai-kouhai type of relationship, Strawberry Panic is more heavy on shoujo-ai/yuri aspects but it also feature a strong senpai-kouhai relationship) and both of them are slow-paced romances settled in a school life setting so if you like one of this two shows then you will enjoy the other one as well.
I like both animes, one goes a lot faster and has more action on the surface, but both are funny at some points and almost make me cry on others.
I love animes that make you relate to carachters, and these two are like that.
Shy, crybaby Fumi has just transferred into Matsuoka Girl’s High School, in the city of Kamakura. It’s been ten years since she moved away, leaving her dear friend Akira behind; and soon, the two are reunited once more. Akira is now attending Fujigaya Girls’ Academy, though she and Fumi still manage to see each other regardless. Between classes and social engagements, the two will experience love, the struggle to admit one’s true feelings, and the joy of companionship.
Do you like shoujo-ai animes and are you looking for good ones? look no more, both Marimite and Aoi Hana are heavy on shoujo-ai aspects and both are school based animes and very slow-paced ones with a dramatic romance aspect. If you like one of this two animes then you will enjoy the other one as well.
Shy, athletic Sumika is in love with her bubbly friend Ushio. However, Ushio is outwardly attracted to cute girls, something she never calls her friend-turned-admirer. Keeping her tender feelings a secret from the one she loves, Sumika continues to be Ushio’s confidante and companion, hoping that someday she can say how she feels. Whether it’s having a first kiss, cooking a meal or confiding in each other, Sumika, Ushio, Tomoe and their friends will experience the everyday joys of a quiet school life and touching romance together.
when we speak about Marimite and Sasameki Koto we speak about a nice slow-paced romance aspect and of course a overwhelming shoujo-ai/yuri aspect. Both of them are school based so my guess is that if you like one of this two shows then for sure you will like the other one as well.
