Upon her arrival, Ai is pushed into a job at the local shop (under the watchful eyes of Tanukichi); and in no time at all, she becomes friends with a variety of friendly and odd characters such as Bouquet the cat and Sally the elephant. As the seasons pass, Ai’s life remains a fun adventure – and one evening, she finds a mysterious message in a bottle telling her that if she plants a tree, on the night of the Winter Festival something mysterious will happen… what will it be?
If you like Maple Town, then you'll also enjoy this little movie.
The Animal Crossing movie is a heart warming tale about a young girl named Ai who leaves her home and moves into a little town called Animal Village, where are the residents are, of course, animals!
The story line is pretty simplistic and sweet, but then again doesn't that go the same for Maple Town? Plus the end of the film has a neat little plot twist that'll make you smile. (I sure did!)
And if you like The Animal Crossing movie, then you'll find Maple Town a charming show that is a little like a slightly watered down version of the movie.
Not that MT can't stand on it's own, the show has many characters, most of them are really lovable and only one or two will make you think, 'Okay, this is a little two sweet for me.' (Namely Patty Pig and her parents.)
The only problem is Maple Town isn't easy to find, but if you can find it and you like Animal crossing, then I highly recommend it!
