Minato Sahashi was living a normal life; he had just failed his college entrance exam for a second year in a row, and lived a quiet life in a single's apartment. That is, until the busty Musubi fell from the sky on top of him! She is a Sekirei, one of 108 that are destined to fight each other until only one remains; and he or she will ascend to heaven with his or her chosen one known as an Ashikabi. Minato soon finds himself in the embrace of Musubi, becoming her Ashibaki - but his life will only become more complicated. Musubi isn't the last to claim Minato as her Ashibaki, and what's worse, plenty of other Sekirei and opponents stand in his way!
both anime have a bunch of female fighting which all revolve's around one male but sekirei is more serious. while all the girls are for the male is sekirei except in maji de watashi all the girls go after the male but one and the male is after that one girl

In both shows a fairly useless but good natured boy finds himself surrounded with a harem of ass-kicking beauties in a fanservice and comedy laden action series.
Rhiannon is the fair and gentle daughter of a village chief. Unfortunately for her, she's also exactly the sort of maiden who is needed as a sacrifice to wake the Demon King Arawn from his thousand-year slumber and is soon kidnapped for this very purpose. However, when Arawn is summoned, he decides to spare Rhiannon's life, instead killing her captor and freeing her from mind control. Taken with his kindness, Rhiannon immediately decides to marry the Demon King, making him the new village chief. All of this is bad news for Rhiannon's protective but hot-headed brother Arthur, who must now pledge his knightly service to his new Lord, Arawn. Together the three of them must journey and together they must fight, encountering new friends and new foes along the way.
Although the setting is different these action harems are pretty similar. They are a mix of a more serious plot with plenty of action, and episodes of pure harem with groups of girls all falling madly in love with the lead male. If you enjoyed one, you'd probably enjoy the other.
Funko, Shigu, Eru and Ichiroku seem to be typical school girls on the surface, but they're actually powerful, dangerous guns that must be treated with care and respect! Together, they attend Seishou Academy, a special place where not only are all of the students guns, the teachers are as well. That is, except for one new educator who arrives, unaware of the crazy, dangerous times that lie ahead!
Both series feature ecchi, a cast of girls who focus their energy on battle and a joke at every turn.
Neither show takes itself seriously. While Majikoi has a plot it hardly takes the plot seriously, since it's based on a game that's just as silly as Upotte. If you enjoy one, you'll really enjoy the other.
Ren and Mihato Uesugi have moved to Chiharu in order to find work and a place to live, but it has proven difficult to find employment. Through a series of events the duo finds itself in the prestigious Kuonji house - and subsequently accepts live-in maid positions! Famous Shinra, inventive Miyu and youngest Yume are tough customers to wait on, but with the help of the ex-militant head-butler Colonel, head maid Benisu and other wait staff, Ren and Mihato might just learn what it takes to be the best maid or butler you can be. Their jobs are not easy, though, with everything from inappropriate sibling love to household games to handle!
These series seems to be related, with a couple of characters actually showing up in both of them. And other than that, they're still pretty similar: teens with some sort of superpowers (or at least superhuman physical abilities), lots of ecchi, shiptease and perverted joke, and a good dose of humour. They also try to pack in some more serious plot points... how well that works depend on the viewer though. Anyway, if you want a fanservice-y lighearted harem comedy with some absurdities along the way, then both of these are for you.
When the infected approached Rei and Takashi's school, it led to a gruesome blood bath that left the majority of students and staff dead or turned into the zombie-like monsters that have spread throughout the world. Together with a handful of other survivors, Rei and Takashi set forth to find their families in a world that is rapidly detoriating. Governments have collapsed, the killer disease is out of control, and people everywhere are trying their best to simply live through each day...
Both are short harem-ecchi anime series, where the music is the best part and the surprisingly decent stories are ruined by ecchi bullshit. Not only that but the main characters are very similar and both feature a badass, bloodthirsty, big-boobed, combat veteran chicks with long black hair. Although one is a martial artist and the other a sword-fighter. I feel Majikoi falls behind HotD a bit, as the ecchi is way more inappropriate. The endings in both are very similar, if people actually enjoy that sort of 'closure' (or lack of it).
