If you liked the Mahou Shoujo Tai Arusu anime, the Anime-Planet community thinks you'd like:
Long ago the Gods of the heavens fought with humans over the Akuto – a power that can create anything. Now, separated by time and space from the realm of humans, a war is raging between the heavens over the little remaining Akuto. As the floating Magical Kingdom is on the brink of destruction, both worlds are in danger and there is now only one hope for salvation. King Munto of the Magical Kingdom descends to earth in order to find Yumemi, a thirteen year old girl who has always been able to see the islands in the sky. He explains that when his kingdom falls, the human territory will become a land of death and Yumemi’s hidden powers are the only way to prevent it. But can Yumemi’s ability really solve everything when the fear of such power causes the fighting to escalate?
Both of these anime involve a person in a strange world, filled with magical beings on the brink of destruction. The animation styles are a little diffent in these anime, but they are both essentially eye candy. The main girl is also very young, but very powerful, and has to learn to control her power as the anime progresses. Both of these animes play out like a fairytale.
Chocola is an extrovert and an assertive girl, while her friend Vanilla is extremely shy and hesitant; together, they both come from the Magical Kingdom and are the next candidates in line for the throne. In order to qualify to be the Queen, Chocola and Vanilla are sent to the Human World to improve their magic; the assessment is based on capturing the most 'hearts' of the people in the Human World. Chocola's upfront behavior was popular in the Magical Kingdom, but in the Human World, people prefer the personality of her newly formed rival, Vanilla. Now, Chocola must work extra hard to live up to her mother's failure -- all while repressing her desire to whup everyone's butt!
In Tweeny a human girl ventures into the Witches' world, wheres in Sugar Rune two witches come the other way. But in both series the magical population is split, and the main characters are connected, through missing parents, with the reason for a war, as well as its possible solution.
