After fighting with her nemesis Ryuga, the Saint Android, Mahoro returns to Misato's side as his trustworthy maid. Soon after, a mysterious yet clumsy girl appears, revealing herself as a runaway android from the secret organization known as Management. Together, Misato and Mahoro take the girl under their wings and name her Minawa, gaining both a maid for the house and a little sister for Mahoro. But as the day of Mahoro's demise grows closer, the trio are inevitably drawn into the events of the final showdown between Saint and Earth.
When Murase Takaya, an average and somewhat perverted boy, decides to buy a robot to keep him company, it is the robot that chooses him. However, when the maid is delivered, her particular programming leads her to refuse wearing her uniform, throw away his sexy figurine collection and run away! The two soon make up; and though their relationship remains complicated, they get along more and more in time. From wearing all kinds of costumes to taking care of kids, will Yui find of what she's made for?
Both series involve a robot maid, a dirty-minded young man, and the ensuing comedic chaos. There are a few particularly close parallels, particularly the destruction of stashed erotic items (photobooks in one case, figurines in the other), the complicated relationship between our leads, and the fact that neither of the boys exactly picks their maid themselves.
Chances are fairly good that if you've enjoyed one of these, you'll like the other as well.
If you have a maid fetish and you are into the Master-Slave relationships you gonna like it.The share common aspects but Mahoromatic is more serious and consistent and a true Gainax anime with all the elements that derives from this studio.

However, an unusual distraction presents itself one unsuspecting day in the form of Chii, a robotic young girl that has been discarded in the trash. In a world where an increasing number of people turn to these 'persocoms' for company, the bonds and limits of human relationships are tested as flesh manages to fall in love with the machine itself...
Nono, a clumsy young girl living in the backwater countryside of Mars, dreams of becoming a space pilot. If you enjoyed Mahoromatic Season 2 and are looking for another good android anime, I strongly recommend Gunbuster 2. It has the perfect mixture of battles and character development that I believe Mahoromatic fans will enjoy
Runaway sisters Izumi and Mitsuki have a problem. They've got no place to go! That is, until Yoshitaka Nakabayashi, a teenage orphan rich beyond their wildest dreams, offers them jobs as maids. It seems like a dream come true... for all of a few minutes. From spy cameras in the sauna to fetish wear as uniforms, Yoshitaka will stop at nothing to gratify his own perversities, with or without the girls' consent. Can the girls stave off his advances with the help of their hyperactive pet alligator, or will they end up doing service a lot more personal than just cleaning house?
Both Mahoromatic and He is My Master are about a boy and one or more girls who try to be his maids for different reasons. There is also a Mahoro doll in He is My Master, and the typical "how many days or money are left" idea.
