Mahoraba and Ah! My Goddess are very similar. Kozue's main personality is much like Belldandy's, the supporting cast is almsot cut and paste, and the underlying themes are identical. While Ah! My Goddess has more magic and Mahoraba better art, both are terrific series and both are worth watching.

Both of these shows are cute slice of lifes with weird, weird humor. You know, the type of humor that make you think "what the...." where logic is normal, but used in very incorrect ways.

Clannad

Tomoya is rather indifferent at first, but decides that he has nothing better to do and spends increasingly more time helping Nagisa restore the school drama club. As his relationship with Nagisa grows, Tomoya begins to open up to various other people around the school as well...

Mahoraba and Clannad are two series that are almost twins in nature. Both are deep drama with a large cast of characters that lean heavily on moe for art. While Clannad is much deeper, if you like on the other is without doubt worth a look.
